My doc said no red Jello or red Gatorade. It would show up as red in your colon during the procedure. The prep is worse than the procedure. Took the prep then slept a total of 10 min during the night with procedure at 645am. Basically spent all night in the bathroom. Good luck.

That’s why my DH starts the week before eating things like plain chicken, rice, and bland foods. Once that medicine hits, you aren’t up all night. Then, the morning dose doesn’t last too long. 😉
Ps plus it’s better to get early afternoon appts., then you don’t have to get up so early.

Mine is at 9 in the morning. What happened to me was I was given my time yesterday. All I had prior was the date and where it happens.

At least I will be having pancakes when I come home.

Day before procedure I went all liquids all day but the reason I was up all night was that prep drink which reminded me of a very salty sweet ice cold concoction , up all night because when came out was everything in my stomach and just free flowing clear stuff all night long. The surgeon did tell me afterwards my colon was very clean . I told him I'm sure you had an idea what I went through the night before, he agreed. The most popular appts is early morning with my doc. I was so weak living in the bathroom the night before my brother had to drive me to my procedure at 645am.. When I got home I pigged out on a huge breakfast.

Yep, sears was pretty cool back in the day.
We shopped there often for so many things.
We had one in our local mall just down the road (the same one that had the Disney Store I was a CM at), but, it too closed a few years ago.
The outhouses on both sets of grandparents farms (even though my Pops folks had an indoor toilet by the time I came along, they still kept the old outhouse for overflow, so to speak…!!!!! :D :hilarious:) always had a sears catalog in ‘em, along with a small crate of soft corn cobs with no kernels on ‘em…!!!!! :hilarious:
The other thing about Sears was I don’t remember anything they sold, of importance anyway, not being of good to excellent quality.
Sad how those running the show didn’t have the forethought, creativity, or initiative to keep up with the times.
