Not so fun fact: The older you get the more you beg for long hours, days, weeks and years. When the days start to get short so does the time.

I've noticed my mom who I am a caregiver for has a sense of calm when it comes to perception of time not looking for more hours days weeks. She did not have a sense of calm when she raised her boys in a very strict environment, made sure we enjoyed a hot prepared meal at dinnertime , cleaned the house , upkeep the landscaping , was a school teacher full time and a loving wife and mother to my late father and greatest mom and still is in her current limited mental and physical capacity to her boys. I'm getting up there in age ( in my mid 50s) but I still grind out every morning lap swimming for 40 min at 5am at the gym which fuels me to deal with caregiver role of the day and night. Perhaps I will beg for more time later in life but right now taking care of my mom is the most satisfying but toughest job in my life and the time is going by fast in my perception. Not so fun fact: The older you get the more you beg for long hours, days, weeks and years. I plan on sticking around long enough to get even with my childrenNot so fun fact: The older you get the more you beg for long hours, days, weeks and years. When the days start to get short so does the time.

I'm sure you do and when I was in my 50's and 60's I was the same way. Now I'm in my mid 70's and a lot of my friends are starting to leave our mortal coil my thoughts are much calmer but less looking forward to tomorrow. Since I reached the age of no longer being able to die young, I just want time to slow down a little so what time is left literally drags along. I'm not speaking for others but to me every minute that goes by, I'm older than I have ever been.I've noticed my mom who I am a caregiver for has a sense of calm when it comes to perception of time not looking for more hours days weeks.
