Sounds like an improvement over your last place of employment even before you start :)

Thank you! It can't be much worse, so that's positive!

So this has been my week..... https://www.mysuncoast.com/2023/03/30/sarasota-man-gets-life-sexually-assaulting-disabled-woman/
Hubs and I are taking a much needed and quick break over to Disney tomorrow and Saturday.
It was a truly sad case but I am so very proud and happy he will be away for the rest of his life!

Ugh, that's got to be tough. I think I'd have problems with nightmares after a case like that. How sad. That poor girl!!

E's off looking at another university today. This one is my husband's alma mater. I'm going to miss her so much when she goes to college...I'm kind of hoping she'll choose a university that's close enough she could live at home, but even if she does, there's no guarantee she WILL live at home, and that's purely selfish on my part. But I will definitely miss her. Only another year and a half!!

The hardest part of parenting is the letting go. Tough, but completely necessary. One just has to remember that our job as parents was to do what was necessary to prepare them to deal with life and to take care of themselves. That cannot happen until we let go.

In all seriousness, honesty how much bacon do you think one of them could eat??!!
It’s family history and genetic makeup not what and how much you can eat that drives up cholesterol numbers. My grandfather ate the fattiest foods 3 meals a day and nonissues with cholesterol and lived to 88 years old. He was active so he burned off the calories as fast as he ate them which continually got his body moving.
