I've seen that on the menus in Hawaii for breakfast. And a lot of times, if you order a breakfast platter, they give you an option of potatoes or rice on the side.

Of course, the worst one is the loco Moco. People love it but that's a nope from me. 🤣
Loco moco can be the breakfast of champions. it has enough calories to last one throughout the day. HI locals cannot survive without eating rice 2-3 times a day. Loved visiting the 50th state.

I too love rice, but not first thing in the morning.

I don't like fried eggs, so the loco Moco is out for me. And I'm also super picky about ground beef these days because it upsets my stomach. If I get a burger, I usually opt for one from a restaurant and make sure they prepare it well done. I don't eat ground beef tacos anymore at all; I usually stick with chicken.

But even so, the ingredients on the loco Moco aren't all that appetizing for me. I'll take a stack of pancakes with coconut syrup instead.

Many Asain countries/regions don't have a history of growing other grains. It would be like asking some to give up bread. One side of my family (the ones that can cook) could go days without bread in the house as long as there was rice

One family I knew did not eat white rice with any meal but they made incredible rice pudding and rice Krispy treats.

So, @Goofyernmost
I’m watchin’ the Dell Match Play tournament right now.
As you know, I drive by that course to and from the office every workday. They start setting everything up about a month before the tournament when so much is still brown, and I always think to myself “How the hell are they gonna’ get this thing ready in time for the tournament…?!”
And yet, every year it looks perfect by the time the tournament starts, even with the coupla’ recent harsh winters we’ve had…just blows my mind every year…!!!!! :hilarious:

It must me very tedious putting peanut butter on each piece of rice in an effort to have a peanut butter sandwich! Peanut butter and jelly would be a nightmare.

I'm officially done with my job. 14.5 years with this company, last night was my last shift, and they did NOTHING for me. Not a card, not a handshake, not anything. And it was also my supervisor's last day and they did nothing for her either. No one came to wish us luck with future jobs or to thank us for the years we gave to the company. There were only 10 of us there last night, and everyone of us now has a week or 2 to find a job before the evening shift is gone. And they don't even bother to thank us for years of working there. Just unceremoniously tell us they don't need us anymore, buhbye, and shove us out the door.

Elsa thinks its a beautiful day in southeastern Wisconsin. Elsa has been doing this:

Elsa caused a new snow record on the day of March 25th. The old record was 5.2 inches of snow on this day, but the new record now is 8.7 inches of snow so far today.

This Elsa's mood right now:

As bad 8.7 inches sound @Figgy1, its even worse in places like Menasha. Menasha, WI got 20 inches of snow.
