Macs...
The Emperors New Groove Omg GIF by Disney

I've owned iPods before; I just really prefer Android, but it's gonna be a cold day in hell before I ever go to a Mac...šŸ¤£
Yeah . I can't comment on that šŸ¤

I noticed that interaction, as well, and paid even closer attention after they interviewed the auctioneer known as ā€œThe Hatā€, during his break.
That Mopar collection alone went for a total of over $6.2 million. ā€œThe Hatā€ made it sound like Mecum made out very well during the week themselvesā€¦!!! :)
Good to know that I wasn't the only one noticing the activity on the sidelines.

And oh yes -- The Hat! I saw his interview. I liked him -- plus, he was handsome. :joyfull:

That interview also got me to wondering about what kind of living those auctioneers make.
Seems like itā€™s probably pretty good.
Had the same inquiry in my mind as well. The auction rotated through at least 3-4 yesterday afternoon. (Did you also happen to catch the interview with the father and son, who worked at Mecum? That was a very nice segment, showing how the son followed in his father's footsteps. They had a great rapport together. (They were interviewed off to the side, but I think they both worked the bidding floor areas.)

I have an older model iphone, and put a (thin) plastic screen cover that protects it from scratches, etc. There's also a hard outer cover that I bought. (Oh, the actual phone was given to me. I've never bought any smartphone.)

The first iPhone I ever had was a 5. It was first Danielā€™s, then Meganā€™s, and then it was given to me as a Christmas present one year (canā€™t remember what year, now šŸ¤” :hilarious:).
I have since had a 6, 8 and currently have a 12 Plus Pro Max.
Iā€™ve loved every one of ā€˜emā€¦!!! :)

I must have missed that interview, as I donā€™t remember it. Sounds like a good story, thoughā€¦!!! :)

Ugh, I can NOT use apple. I had an imac in my classroom when I was teaching and that thing was so hard to figure out how to do ANYTHING. So not user friendly or intuitive! I was lost. I've only used Microsoft/android products since then.
I get that. I probably wouldn't started Apple products, but my DD talked me into it after she had one in college. She showed me a lot of how to use it. Basically, I taught myself how to use both the iPhone and Mac.

I tried to use a Mac in college just for kicks (they had one in one of the computer labs). I could not figure it out and gave up within five minutes before I threw the thing across the room.

Now iPhones/iPads...I do know how to use iOS. I just don't like it as much as Android.

iPhones...just no. They were revolutionary when they came out, but I like my phone much better. One big thing, for me at least, is that they took away the fingerprint reader. I don't get it! My phone has the fingerprint reader just on the screen. And because of work, we're not allowed to unlock our phones with facial recognition. So I'd have to be entering my pin all the time...just no.

My mom's phone and mine are about the same age. Hers is an iPhone, and granted, she has an SE (lower end model) while I had a mid tier Samsung, but there's a huge difference in how they're holding up. Mine operates about as well as the day I got it. Hers...less so. And I use mine much more heavily.

Which it's the opposite with the iPads; both of my parents have iPads and they've held up extremely well. Which brings me to my theory that Apple designs their phones to break on purpose while Samsung does not.
