Not yet but I will probably watch it today or tomorrow. I saw the new Avatar it is it visually beautiful and parts of it are really good but way too long.

I don’t remember a lot of the first movie, but this new one did have a lot of violence. So your mom is correct about that. There is a whole whale scene that parts of it are important to the story but includes way too much violence . I’m glad I saw it but both my husband and I think it is a one and done.

I see, the first was pretty indirectly violent too. So I'm confused.
Probably this "whale" scene shocked her.. who knows..

I might buy the 3d bluray better XD

I've seen the original one more times in Spanish than I have in English. I was watching it in English with my little cousin last week and there were a couple of times where I was like, "oh, that's definitely different in English."
