I missed that one.
But, yes, it seems like Disney is havin’ to drop back 10 and punt on a lot of their recent entertainment decisions/missteps.
Lately, they just seem like they’re always tryin’ to overreach, and it comes back to bite ‘em.
I’ll bet all the finger-pointing, blame, and turmoil goin’ on behind closed doors with that part of the company is intense…would love to be a fly on the wall, but, pretty sure Disney has “Magical Swatters” for that…!!!!! :hilarious:
Some of the issues Disney has with the park is their response to Iger's past actions back when he was the CEO of the Walt Disney Company.

What I mean by that is The Walt Disney Company in June of this year has a 46 billion dollar debt. That debt is caused by Iger as CEO and the actions Disney had to take due to position Iger left after leaving CEO position. With Disney having that type of debt, Disney is limited in what they spend in the parks. This explains the raise prices and lower expenses philosophy for the Disney parks to a point

Iger is responsible for the debt due to acquiring Fox. Disney originally gad a much cheaper offer for Fox, But Comcast decided to bid for Fox with them really driving up the price that Iger had Disney pay 73.1 billion dollars. Disney had to borrow 11 billion dollars in May of 2020 during the pandemic. Disney getting Fox put Disney in the position that they felt they needed to borrow that money during the pandemic.

To top things off, Disney is supposed pay Comcast for Comcasts 33 percent stake in Hulu. This was something that was connected to Iger. Disney has to pay at least 8.8 billion dollars to Comcast in January of 2024.

If I remember correctly...they started to short the parks by the end of the Eisner era.
So it isnt just because of Iger's nonstop adquisitions.

I didn't.

I had peas, biscuits, and hamburger helper. I was watching the live stream of Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's during dinner. I was watching it from Rix Flix youtube channel.
Sounds good, except for the peas. ;)

The Universal holiday parade looks fun -- glad you got to see it on youtube.

When I used Hamburger Helper I wait until there is only about 10 minutes left and then add about a cup of frozen peas or a handful of broccoli to the pot. That way the proteins, carbs and veggies are combine. Since I live alone one Helper production will be good for three to four meals. I use the left overs for easy meal prep. 2.5 minutes in the microwave and like magic another meal. If I'm not going to use it all up quickly, then I pop one or two in containers in the freezer and have them another time (just takes a couple of extra minutes in the microwave).
