No
yeah, he has literally ZERO charisma.
A poisonous cactus would be more popular than him.
His actions and the idiocy he says doesn't make things better either.
Not only that, but he's so high on his own farts that the stuff he says is wayyy out of touch.

He tried to say that adults don't want to watch animation.

I'm like, excuse me? Ten minutes on the internet will tell you that is false, sir.

Very ironic considering that less than 2 days before. DelToro slammed on everyone who claimed animation was just for kids.

Most here learn manual. My current car is auto though. Getting lazy in my old age 😉
Automatics are popping up over here once in a while. They aren't common, and I don't think many driving schools have that as an option. Just out of curiosity, how does it work over there with licensing? Here, if you learn on a manual and get your license on one, you can drive either manual or automatic, but if you get your license in an automatic, you are not licensed for manuals. I'm hoping automatics will become more popular here and we'll eventually be able to switch over. I HATE driving stick. I mean, I don't like driving period, but automatic is a lesser evil.

Same licence wise over here. Very few people take an auto test.

I have been lucky, I guess. I have had many automatic transmissions in my life and never have had a transmission problem with any of them. That is one area that I stayed completely away from unless there might be a problem. It falls under my "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy. Until my last two, I never had less then 125K miles on them (one was 180K) and I never even changed or added to the transmission fluid. That was a variety of cars, General Motors, Chrysler products, Volkswagen and even one Ford product that I bought on a day when my brain wasn't running on all 8 cylinders. Other problems, but never a transmission. I have, however, had to replace a few clutches on the other ones (mostly when my wife or daughters were driving them).

Yep, I/we’ve owned several vehicles with auto trannies and never had a problem with any of them.
The only major component that didn’t go bad on that ‘01 Grand Caravan was the auto tranny.
But, I have posted before about the manual tranny master and slave cylinders going out at 25K miles on that Jeep Cherokee Laredo we bought new back in ‘90.
Woulda’ only been $500 if it wasn’t covered by the base warranty.

Save the manuals! I'm part of the less than 5% that drive a stick. Some benefits are
No one wants to drive my car because they don't know how to drive a stick
Brake pads last longer because instead of riding on the break pedal I downshift into a lower gear
More in control of the car performance love rowing through the gears ,
Both feet and hands concentrate on the wheel, stick shift and three pedals

I’ve posted this before, but, the first vehicle I ever drove had a manual tranny.
It was a 1963 International Harvester pickup with 3-on-the-tree, and I learned on my Pops side grandparents farm at the age of 13.
Stick is like second nature to me.
Shortly before we got married back in ‘88, I taught my wife to drive stick on our then new ‘88 Hyundai Excel. It was frustrating for her at first, but, once she got it, she was a pro.
She drove our Cherokee around for years like a boss. That thing had the really torquey 4.0 liter straight-6 with a 5-speed manual, and it would hop good when you needed/wanted it to…!!! ;):)
Definitely more fun than drivin’ a slush box.

I watched that as well and the "dusted" reactions were noticed by me, but I certainly expected that from them. By the way, how could their have been that many CM's watching that show when all the parks were still open? Who was working the parks? Was upper management covering the two finger pointing jobs? Anyway, I went to the show sometime in the early 2000's and I remember many parts of that show that were part of it back then. Some new movie representations but the bulk of it was the same.

Resort TV is really good in the overall quality and I like the guy (forget his name now) that runs the vlog. The guy has one flaw that always makes me think of Elmer Fudd. He makes statements that are correct and interesting, but then always laughs after. It is usually like this... "The line is moving pretty fast now, (giggle, giggle, giggle)". I guess it bothers me, not to the extent that I would stop watching it, but I always want to yell out... "please stop laughing and just make your statements"

Yes, I know how petty that sounds, but it's just an observation. And when are he and his sister ever at home. How does one retain that degree of "excitement" when it appears they spend half of their life in a Disney Park. I get bored after 4 days in a row.

Yep, I was watchin’ the ResortTV1 stream as well.
His name is Josh, and he and his sister Jenna both stream/vlog, and co-own the channel. They each now have spin-off channels as well.
They were invited to the preview by a CM friend.

I watch several streamers/vloggers, and they all annoy me a little at some point. But, I know I inadvertently annoy people myself sometimes…just the human condition.
You’ve probably heard this before…
“I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is: try to please everybody” ~ Herbert Bayard Swope

As far as the show goes…
It’s a good show, but, as you mentioned, other than the newer movie additions, it all seemed, pretty much, as it always has been.
Keeping in mind though, this is comin’ from a guy that hasn’t seen the show (in the Park, live stream, vlog, or otherwise) in about 15+ years, so there’s that.

And yes, I wondered about the CM thing as well.
At one point, I thought I heard someone say it was all only DHS CMs, and I wondered the same thing as you…who the heck is watchin’ the store…?!?!?!!!!! :hilarious:
I mean, from what I understand, that venue holds close to 7,000 people…!!! :geek:

And, on a final note…
Funny thing is, I don’t mind most of the rides bein’ streamed over and over again, but, I’ve seen the cavalcades, parades, castle stage shows, and fireworks so many times, I just can’t watch ‘em anymore.
If I’m watchin’ live, I’ll see what’s on cable. If it’s a replay, I’ll fast forward.

Curious -- is resortTV free, or is it something that you subscribe to? (I don't subscribe to anything, so just wondering.) Don't think I've ever seen any of those vlog type shows (unless occasionally, someone else shares a clip of something). That aside, I can understand who some vloggers spend a ton of time in the parks, because they're probably making some good income, if enough people watch, right?

Yes, I watch it free on YouTube, along with several others. You can also subscribe to channels, but, that’s free too, as far as the ones I’ve subscribed to go. You don’t have to be subscribed to watch.
You can also live chat with the streamer(s) and others in the live chat. Sometimes they put the chat in “subscribers only mode”, so you would need to be subscribed for that, obviously.
Sometimes, on the more popular channels, the chat moves so fast It’s impossible for the streamer to keep up, and almost impossible for others in the chat.
I see many of the same people in different channel chats.
And yes, there is income to be made, which I have no problem with.
Most also accept “super chats” (tips).
I watched about a 6-hour stream once with a calculator by my side, and they made about 5K alone in super chats…!!!!! :greedy::eek:o_O:greedy::hilarious:

ResortTV has many connections but I watch it via You Tube which cost nothing if you don't mind a few interruptions for a word from their sponsors. They do a very good job showing rides that has filming allowed and many general activities offered that, in my case, I didn't even know existed. They do video's and on special occasions and I think Fridays the do a live feed for many hours. It's kind like being there without the sore feet.

Yes, they call those Friday night streams “Friday Night Live”, of all things…!!!!! :hilarious:

The new anime style of Disney....now that's just wrong. IE Runway Railway

That animation style reminds me of when Cartoon Network went to it in the mid 90’s with shows like The Power Puff Girls, Johnny Bravo, etc. Cute for a while, but, then just got annoying.
Why Disney felt the need to just now embrace that 25+ year old animation style I have no clue, other than the fact that it may have some nostalgic appeal to the now grownup kids that were watchin’ it back then…? 🤷‍♂️

Here in Texas, all you need is a drivers license and you can drive either automatic or manual.
Not positive about all other states, but, I have yet to hear otherwise regarding such.

There is a lot of inconsistency's in the motor vehicle operations world. For example, to drive large "commercial" vehicles you have to take a variety of written tests depending on what you are planning on driving and a road test with a vehicle of the type you are aiming to drive (Different classes of vehicles, standard trucks, Semi's or buses),require a Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Yet you can go out and buy a monster Motor Home and legally drive it even if you never drove anything bigger then a VW Beetle. Everytime I see one of those coming toward me all I can do is hope that this isn't the first time they have been behind the wheel.

I don't even think it's usually offered here. You have to go through a certified driving school, and most of them are exclusively manual. My 2nd one did ask me if I wanted to do automatic, but since our car is a manual, that wouldn't have been handy. Can anyone teach you to drive or do you have to go through a school? In Wyoming, anyone over 18 with a license can teach you. And we went out to my dad's ranch so it was on private roads and my brother who was only 17 taught me the basics. I couldn't drive on highways or in town without my mom in the front passenger seat, but for the basics, ranch roads were fine. But over here, I couldn't do that. We don't have private roads to practice on, so it all had to be done in lessons. But all the driving schools to manual, because they figure if you can drive a manual, you can drive an automatic, so no need to teach that one since it limits what you're allowed to drive.

Some states require a special license for motorhomes over a certain weight but if you need the license depends on the state the vehicle is registered to
