You would be too if you had millions of people, once a year, wanting to chop off your head, cook you and eat you all at the same time as they are celebrating a good harvest.

Congratulations andI got a 98 on that paper I had to finish writing on Monday. Phew. For some reason, that paper was not coming easily to me...
Halloween doesn't seem to be as big now when I was younger. I don't partake but seems less and less every year.

Work idiocy of the day:
- Boss has the tendency of always registering accounts with his PERSONAL non job email, making it a nightmare to get access or add secondary accounts.
- Boss gets p**sed when asked to do tasks, and this is hilarious because he sets these situations all by himself.
- Boss had the tendency of sharing his personal password around because he was sick of having to do account management.
- I have insisted in using a default addresses not tied to the boss' account, he still does #1.
- Today I reminded him again that I needed avcess to an account info because I need to make changes.
- Suddenly, he scolds me in a public channel with tons of coworkers, saying that the company shouldn't sharing accounts directly and that is a security risk for the company.
Cue facepalm.. me, the one telling him about this for YEARS about this being a security issue.. suddenly when I ask.. says its a security issue...
Note, this is a year or so ago after he decided to drop a security password sharing program because it was "expensive" XD
Speaking of pumpkins and Halloween, there were about 40 kids last night who came by trick or treating. I always buy extra candy, as the number of kids varies by year. So, score! I've got about 25 (small size) candy bars left!!
Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking and opened up all the outer bags of the candy bars. In the past, I remembered to not open all of the bags I didn't use, because any sealed bags, my church donates to the USO, or to the local PD for the guys.) I'll have to chuck some of this candy overflow, as I have no will power if I see it!
The food looks tasty but you're correct.
Those are not really the normal nachos. They are just a bag of rounded Tostitos with cheese on top.
So it looks very commercial.
On the good side, you did not get these classic texmex super thin tortilla chips that most "mexican" restaurants offer in Houston, TX.
Sorry, you can't shoot the turkey located on my parents front yard.
Dad likes to put the turkey outside the day after Halloween with him tied up on 4 creates.
I don't think your boys would want that turkey because he's inflatable.
Hopefully watching Fantasmic today on Youtube. Too bad I can't watch it without the crowd sounding like 10,000 screaming teenage girls.
I have been lucky, I guess. I have had many automatic transmissions in my life and never have had a transmission problem with any of them. That is one area that I stayed completely away from unless there might be a problem. It falls under my "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy. Until my last two, I never had less then 125K miles on them (one was 180K) and I never even changed or added to the transmission fluid. That was a variety of cars, General Motors, Chrysler products, Volkswagen and even one Ford product that I bought on a day when my brain wasn't running on all 8 cylinders. Other problems, but never a transmission. I have, however, had to replace a few clutches on the other ones (mostly when my wife or daughters were driving them).Manual or auto tranny…?
I’ve owned 2 Hyundais with manual trannies that I had no issues with.
I did have to replace a worn clutch plate on the first one, but, that was well beyond 100K miles, and is typical wear and tear maintenance.
Save the manuals! I'm part of the less than 5% that drive a stick. Some benefits areManual or auto tranny…?

I watched that as well and the "dusted" reactions were noticed by me, but I certainly expected that from them. By the way, how could their have been that many CM's watching that show when all the parks were still open? Who was working the parks? Was upper management covering the two finger pointing jobs? Anyway, I went to the show sometime in the early 2000's and I remember many parts of that show that were part of it back then. Some new movie representations but the bulk of it was the same.Yea, I tried to watch a live stream of the CM preview last night, and decided to watch somethin’ else on cable, because it was just so flippin’ annoyin’.
Outta’ morbid curiosity (and a coupla’ beers later ) I decided to watch the replay, and was just not impressed.
Everyone there last night was so freakin’ high on “the dust” they couldn’t even see straight…!!!!!
Just the thought of me trying to learn to drive a standard, is hilarious! Add me to your list -- your car is safe from me, too!Save the manuals! I'm part of the less than 5% that drive a stick. Some benefits are
No one wants to drive my car because they don't know how to drive a stick
Brake pads last longer because instead of riding on the break pedal I downshift into a lower gear
More in control of the car performance love rowing through the gears ,
Both feet and hands concentrate on the wheel, stick shift and three pedals
Curious -- is resortTV free, or is it something that you subscribe to? (I don't subscribe to anything, so just wondering.) Don't think I've ever seen any of those vlog type shows (unless occasionally, someone else shares a clip of something). That aside, I can understand who some vloggers spend a ton of time in the parks, because they're probably making some good income, if enough people watch, right?I watched that as well and the "dusted" reactions were noticed by me, but I certainly expected that from them. Resort TV is really good in the overall quality and I like the guy (forget his name now) that runs the vlog. The guy has one flaw that always makes me think of Elmer Fudd. He makes statements that are correct and interesting, but then always laughs after. It is usually like this... "The line is moving pretty fast now, (giggle, giggle, giggle)". I guess it bothers me, not to the extent that I would stop watching it, but I always want to yell out... "please stop laughing and just make your statements"
Yes, I know how petty that sounds, but it's just an observation. And when are he and his sister ever at home. How does one retain that degree of "excitement" when it appears they spend half of their life in a Disney Park. I get bored after 4 days in a row.
Me too! Hubby’s jeep is not automatic. I can’t drive a shift so I won’t be driving it. He had to re-learn. We may splurge and have it changed out.Just the thought of me trying to learn to drive a standard, is hilarious! Add me to your list -- your car is safe from me, too!
Most here learn manual. My current car is auto though. Getting lazy in my old ageMe too! Hubby’s jeep is not automatic. I can’t drive a shift so I won’t be driving it. He had to re-learn. We may splurge and have it changed out.
