One of the all-time great, classic comedies!

Indeed, and a long running time too, even without commercials…!!!
I remember first seein’ it during its theatrical re-release in 1970 at a local drive-in when we were livin’ in San Jose, CA.
Loved it then, and still love it to this day…!!!

I am old enough to have seen it when it was first released in theaters. 1963 to be exact... Funniest thing I ever saw. I've probably watched it a half dozen times since then. The special affects are typically 1963 but it was as good as it got back then. I've continued to look under every Big Doubleya I've seen since.

Yep, it’s a good one, and the ensemble cast is just amazing…!!!
For reference, i was a little over a year old when it was originally released…!!!!!

The movie was on late enough last night that I didn’t even get to the halfway point, but, wasn’t that also the intermission music…?
I just remember it seemed like every time you turned around there was another famous face from back in the day on the screen.
Even Jack Benny made a really short cameo drive-by appearance when they were still in the desert…!!!

They would get along famously. Hubs repairs everything, and over the years has "helped himself" to discards from other people trash, that he's grabbed on trash day -- and brought home.

Pop is not quite as notorious as he used to be for that back in the day, but, it still happens from time to time…!!!!!

Very cute reactions from the animals, and they obviously know her. But I wouldn't attempt it -- especially the one animal who appeared to be sleeping, and she woke it up, tapping on the stomach.

Had my right knee replacement Tuesday at 7:00 am my day started at 3:00 am. So far all went well surgeon told the wife after it was done "his knee was in really bad shape I don't know how he walked on it" Guess you get used to things wife said I walked like a monkey my leg was so bowed out. It's nice and straight now matches my left I had done 2 yrs ago. Looking forward to Pt

Glad it went well! Good luck with PT! Hope it does a world of good. I've heard other people say they wish they hadn't waited so long to get it done, because it helped so much. I hope that holds true for you....the helping part, not the waiting so long part.
