That's right... it was just concrete with a bunch of planters on the edges.

Yes, massive planters with full grown mature cherry trees. It was indeed beautiful. And the reason for the very deep planters? The tunnels and the castle actually being one story above ground level. With all the pipes and drains they needed very deep planters for those root balls of those cherry trees.

Many a Mickey Ice Cream bar was eaten under those pretty trees when my kids were small.

I was just watching that on the news following the Bulls loss to Cleveland. They are saying over 50 hurt so far.

We're down to 47 now. If they are not fib'n we should hit 80, Friday-Sunday. I need to plant my palm trees. Good thing I didn't, the wind we had today I had a hard time pulling the Post Office door open. Those trees would have looked like the Palms that use to be outside the Imagination Pavilion.

Spanish group project done and turned in.
Paper for sales class almost finished. It needs a quick glace tomorrow and then will be done.
Group project for management, which we just got today, is getting there. 3/4 group members have already sent me something. I think there will be some stuff for me to correct, but so far, no major errors. It's due Thursday at 10 am (I'll turn it in before then).

Still have:
Spanish test (Thursday at 3 pm)
Spanish paper #1 (Thursday at 3 pm)
Spanish paper #2 (Monday at 5 pm)

Getting there. Slowly but surely getting there!

My DD is going kinda nutso. This is her first real end of a semester for her at her University, she was in training for the last semester. The desperate students, panic students-the procrastinators. Her first round of being on the administration side of student woes. She can't wrap her brain around having to do it over, doing it twice, most of them it wasn't not grasping material, more they didn't look at the material. Long week of whiners filling her day.

I went to my grandsons baseball game tonight at 6pm. It was 87 degrees F. It's about time that North Carolina started to feel like North Carolina. I could have worn long pants, sweatshirts and a jacket, but, I would have been mighty uncomfortable.

just remember.. real tacos should never be microwaved.. but reheated in a oven if they're mostly dry.

The tortilla, like the bread.. gets soggy and disintegrates after reheating it on the micro.

I have a smallish carry on bag that I will put clothes in to further pad fragile items too, and then I keep it safe on the floor right behind my feet.
