Just love her. :inlove: What a life she has lead.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
So, with no cable or internet, we headed out to some place where we could watch the games. Somewhere with multiple screens. Wacky Wings Pladium it was.

And a screen right at our table:

Deep fried pickles. I love these things!
3 for me. 2 for Hubby.

Hubby's Caesar. With yucky croutons.

I had the Sante Fe chicken wrap, with the $1.99 up-charge Caesar salad. No croutons.
The wrap was excellent, but I would have preferred a higher red pepper to green pepper ratio.

Salad was meh. Not a fan of the cheap Parmesan sprinkles.

Mike ordered four pounds of wings:

(Sweet Chile Thai in the foreground, Salt & Pepper in back.)

(Garlic Butter Parm in front - sooooooo good, Bourbon something or other in the rear.)

As I'm sure you can imagine, we brought 1/2 wrap and 2/3 of the wings home.

Home; where we still have no cable or internet.
Guess who will be going to bed early and starting a new book.

What sounds good for dinner.....I have some hamburger cooked up in the fridge waiting for me when I get home.
Here are the options....

Spaghetti

Tacos

Hamburger Pizza

Hamburger gravy with mashed potatoes

Chilli

Or

Sloppy Joes

Or other options.....

just remember.. real tacos should never be microwaved.. but reheated in a oven if they're mostly dry.

The tortilla, like the bread.. gets soggy and disintegrates after reheating it on the micro.

So much fun:
No phone.
No internet.
Approximately 5 of 900 cable channels working - none of which are the Jays vs Orioles. :(

Technician coming between noon and 2:00 tomorrow.

No HayDay for me.
sympathy like.

I honestly cant live without BOTH the internet, power or TV/movies/comics.

I have to have something.
Good thing I'm prepared and my tablet always has some movies and comics.
so I can either draw there or read comics/movies.

You are the only vote, so this is the winner as I am headed home now. I love spaghetti so I was leaning this way anyway. Hubby says I make spaghetti too much, I say is there really too much spaghetti?!?!!
Not possible. It's food from heaven!

Wait, wait. Did you know my dad?
He almost (not quite) rocked the tube socks and sandals look. :hilarious:
My youngest daughter informed me, some years ago, while at WDW that my wearing tube socks with Nike's was completely dorkish. That ankle high socks were to be worn with them. I took her advise now whenever I see someone with running shoes and tube socks I just cross them off my social list. I never have worn socks and sandals but I do wear them with crocks because crocks make my feet sweat too much. Not long after wearing them without socks my feet start to hurt and rub sore. So hang the proper fashion look for that part.

Day 5 of celebrating Mothers Day. My present from my DD finally came today A coffee table book I've hunted for for years. I am so happy.

The gardens of Walt Disney World.

@Cesar R M you would love this book. Glorious 1980s and early 1990s photos of WDW in its hay days. View attachment 92805
As a man who loves foliage (which why DAK and DA are my favorite spots). I will definitively enjoy the 80's photos full of foliage.

I also seen in this forum.. that they removed the remaining trees in the Square at Magic Kingdom :(
