On our next episode of "Is this actually a holiday weekend at WDW?"

MK just closed about 40 minutes ago. I am on the resort monorail, which I did not have to wait in any line for, and I have a seat, as does pretty much everyone.

Seriously!! It better be like this next week. I'm so jealous!

Guardians is a pull for attendance at Epcot, but it honestly hasn't been busy. I think I saw the 1 pm boarding window stayed open for several hours yesterday. We did it twice because it was the extra hours for deluxe resort guests, so they open another window at 6 pm which you can get into regardless of whether you rode it earlier that day. We waited about 20 minutes earlier in the day for it during our group time and then we basically had no wait in the extra hours.

This is giving me hope that we'll be able to snag a queue

How are you doing there? The news said there was a hurricane in Mexico and they showed people being rescued from floodwaters. Is that anywhere near you or are you more inland?

So far no winds, only some clouds. Infact It rained harder 2 days before the hurricane formed. Hurricanes suck all the surrounding humidity to power itself up. The hurricane path currently will make it move towards the sea and towards Baja.
So we're kind of safe right now.


Ironically, I'm worried more of a quake. We haven't had a big one in more than 20 years, It's usually cycles every 15 years.

As for floods, so far nothing serious. Most floods have been on the COLIMA section. Which is one full state to the south.

The 7 am one is harder but no worries if you can't get it because you'll very likely get it at 1. It's not like Rise. Also, if you do get it at 7, be prepared to get up and go because they call groups very quickly.

Ugh! Yeah thankfully I had no problem getting Rise. I think out of all of the times I tried it, there was one time I didn't get it at 7 am, and it was because I was signed in as my dad and not as myself. It was just me and my brother, so I really should have been signed in as myself. I signed in as myself and got in at 1. Now they changed it so you confirm your party beforehand and don't get those errors.

The trick is though to just hit refresh right at 7 if you want the early time. Don't refresh it multiple times beforehand. Also, use the newest phone and data; no Disney WiFi.

Your dad knows how to set a password

He also knows how to use the MDE app to book LLs and DAS return times. He was doing it in DL. My mom was shocked.

Rotating a PDF file is too much for him, though.
