So I had to look it up because they haven't done it in past years and I didn't notice the last time I was there. It's apparently a tradition that started in the 1960s and they left off of for a long time, but it's Camden Yards' 30th anniversary so they brought it back. All of the pitchers are taking care of the plants.@StarWarsGirl we are watching the Orioles game. Why are there tomato plants at the pitcher's bullpen??

The like is for the food.. curiously, rains have been very hard here as well. Our river is swelling and we had a few flooded areas as well. D:We got our hot dogs grilled right when another bout of heavy rain moved in. We’ve had 4.49 inches since yesterday. Flooding in town.
But, the hot dogs were delicious!! View attachment 664859
That's okay since they couldn't win a World Series first. The Mets did it first
Worst part is, many of these shows only have very low quality footage.I had an "I'm old" moment.
I overheard a kid talking with a lifeguard and his father about Test Track. The kid loves it, but the lifeguard and his father were talking about how original TT was better.
Then it suddenly occurred to me...that kid may not have even been born when they redid TT, much less been old enough to have experienced the original TT.
This must be what people feel like when they bring up Horizons...

Perhaps they'd have more if they were selling annual passes.I think Disney is thankful legacy fans are in the parks now that all the kids are back to school.
Is all of it busy, or is it mostly Guardians of the Galaxy area that is packed? Have you been on Guardians? It doesn't go upside down, right? The center of FW is a mess, but World Showcase is normal, plus it's F&W and Guardians is open. So definitely the most crowded park right now.
How are you doing there? The news said there was a hurricane in Mexico and they showed people being rescued from floodwaters. Is that anywhere near you or are you more inland? The like is for the food.. curiously, rains have been very hard here as well. Our river is swelling and we had a few flooded areas as well. D:
Ohhh thanks!! I did not know they did that. Cool.So I had to look it up because they haven't done it in past years and I didn't notice the last time I was there. Saw footage last night of the all the cars in the flood zone of 95 in Providence. Yikes! That's a lotta water!!!It was Florida rain for a while but there was two highways that had floods (they showed pictures of the water up the headlights) and a building collapsed. Lots of main roads near me are flooded.
The news said my area received 9.5 inches of rain yesterdaySaw footage last night of the all the cars in the flood zone of 95 in Providence. Yikes! That's a lotta water!!!
OMG!!!The news said my area received 9.5 inches of rain yesterday
OMG!!!
It's been raining here since last night, but I haven't checked the local news yet to see about any local flash flooding, etc. I did look outside and it just looks wet from the rain -- didn't see any damage (at least on my street, so far). It's just lightly raining now.
Recently, I saw that the colors of the drought chart were beginning to trend lighter in RI (not so much here in MA yet). Yet, it still remains to be seen if the onslaught of rain yesterday will make much of a difference -- only due to the fact that the ground is still so dry in much of New England, and the rain just runs off into the sewers. For some reason, I don't think we are in a drought anymore
It's pretty busy everywhere minus Soarin', but I've seen worse. I haven't had to wait very long to get food anywhere. Is all of it busy, or is it mostly Guardians of the Galaxy area that is packed? Have you been on Guardians? It doesn't go upside down, right?
