Off to my folks later for a lasagna meal.
We were supposed to do it last weekend, but, there was a Covid exposure. None of us got sick, but, we weren’t takin’ any chances with my folks.
We’re takin’ MIL, and Megan, Daniel, Emmy, and Audrey will be there, too…!!!!!

So back before 2012, there were some people who were convinced the world would end in 2012, including one of my friends at the time. She kept telling me that year how the world was going to end and how if I'd go online, I'd see for myself.

Well, obviously, the world didn't end, so when we came back from winter break that year, I was like, "Wow, look, we're all still here."

That friendship ended with high school.

Yea, all that Mayan Calendar Bravo Sierra.
Just like everything was supposed to meltdown at the stroke of midnight 2000.
Pretty sure, at some point anyway, it’s all gonna’ come to an end, but, foolish mortals need to quit trying to predict it.

Homemade spaghetti sauce with noodles and meatballs for dinner tonight. Sorry no pictures. I grew the tomatoes in my garden, harvested them Friday, and made the sauce yesterday. Very tasty!

Mom ran outta’ mozzarella, so used regular cheese on some of the lasagna…!!!!! And, the next door neighbors gave my folks 2 large bags of frozen shrimp last week, so we boiled some of ‘em up…the spicy Cajun red sauce in that little bowl with ‘em was really good,but, HOT…!!!!!
BTW, the lasagna was YUM-O-LICIOUS…!!!!!!!

Yep, it was just gonna’ be lasagna, salad, and garlic toast, and you see how that went…!!!!!

Pop still does handyman work for their neighbors and their extended family. He was hanging some shades at their daughters home last week, needed a tool from his work truck, and took a tumble on the way. He’s OK, but he fractured a bone in his wrist and is in a cast. Took us 2 days to convince him to get to a doc…!!!
Now, he’s gettin’ antsy ‘cause he can’t do everything he wants. Fortunately, it’s his left wrist, and he’s right handed, but, still.
Dude, you’ll be 90 on Jan. 1…it’s OK to take it a little easy these days…!!!!!

As far as Emmy and Audrey go, thank you very much, Minnie, they are a couple of cuties, to say the least…!!!!!
Audrey started walkin’ not long ago (pretty sure I posted a video), and she’s on the mooooooove…!!!!!
They’re a hoot together…!!!
