The sad face emoji was, well, ‘cause ya’ knew I had to do it…!!!!! :D:hilarious:
BTW…what were y’all’s highs trending at…?
There was a day that it reached 100 at Logan Airport. That's somewhat rare, because the airport is right next to the ocean, with ocean breezes. So, that gives you an idea of just how unusually hot the temps were for around 6 days (high 90s to 100, in some spots). Plus, the humidity on a number of days was brutal. :(

I definitely have it.

I used to work for a well-known spice company that shall remain unnamed. I would bring home tons and tons of spices, most of the time for free. Now, it's been years since I worked for that company, but we still have a ton of the spices I got there. Our spice collection is probably bigger than @Figgy1 's. We're still trying to get through the garlic salt. 🤣

I did have to buy a seasoning I didn't have for a recipe I was making that was shocking.
I certainly don't have garlic salt;) but

as both the Indian market and health food store have a large selection as in a wall of spices and herbs. I hope my food grade flowers count

That a few from Basin, a few I mix and Innis are what I wear or soak in. The only other scents I like are Christmas pines and cinnamon but only during the holidays. The boys like food scents:oops:
Basin reminds me of Lush that are in some mall stores. I actually like browsing in Lush, to clear my senses and it improves my mood. The Lush lemon bar soap when I shower makes me squeaky clean. Thanks Canada for bringing Lush to the USA. There is even a Lush location inside Orlando MCO.

In order of use and how much I like them:
Homemade as I control the ingredients and scents
Basin but there are a few things I'm allergic to
Lush as it's harder to find what's safe for me to use

I didn't expect it but the girl in our work group at work gave each of us guys at Christmas a bag of goodies homemade including soap she made at home. It was one of the best gifts I got that year.

I really prefer my world to be mostly scent-free. I guess between the migraines and the perfume allergy, I just don't really like being around strong smells even if they don't trigger anything. Cooking smells are okay, but I run a fan so they aren't so strong when I cook. Shower products with a light scent are okay. But essential oils or anything strong that I'm sitting around for more than a few minutes, even something that smells good to other people... that's a nope from me.
Right there with you. I can’t take strong scents. And if someone is burning their trash, I have to make sure I have fresh air and get inside really quickly. I can fill my lungs start filling up. 🙁
My DD can’t either. She doesn’t even have asthma.

You are arguing that the country that uses the phrases "grande , venti and yuge" are not the pretentious ones ? 🤔🤔🤔
No the opposite of that.
@Goofyernmost , Happy (belated) Birthday. I hope you got a chance to go play golf yesterday, to celebrate your blessed occasion! :)

Thanks Minnie! Sadly because of my spine problem I haven't been able to play golf since last December. Here's hoping that the surgery coming up next week will fix that problem, but golf is still a long ways off.

Oh that makes me mad when I order iced tea. Then, it has like 5 teeny pieces of ice in it!! 🤷🏻‍♀️

No need for ice in iced tea in my house as I keep it in the back of the colder fridge
Nothing worse then ordering Iced Tea only to have two or three small chunks of ice floating on top and the bottom of the glass still warm. I immediately ask them to bring me a full glass of ice and when they do I pour the glass of tea into the one with the ice just so they can see what I want.

There is a need for ice because I don't want to chug my tea so I can drink it when it is still cold. I want ice. I know it "waters" down the tea but since tea of any temperature is 99.9% water anyway, I don't see what is harmed by having constantly ice cold tea. I feel the same way about beer. I don't drink beer often but when I do I want it immersed in ice. A habit I got into in Vietnam where a beer could turn from cold to pee warm in minutes. Gross way to put it, but you have to admit it paints a graphic understandable picture.

My old neighbors used to burn their trash, ugh. So gross. And since we are in town/village it is not allowed but they never got into trouble. I thought about calling the police on them but it would have been obvious it was me so I didn't.
