I always wanted a red car because it was my favorite color. I finally got one a year and a half ago and it has been run into three times, while parked. Once with very little damage, another three grand in damage and the last one over 5 grand in damage.

Can you tell me how people are unable to see this color?

Once on the drivers side door and front fender, once on the passenger side front fender and once on the rear bumper. Only one was not a hit and run.

Pretty snazzy looking car though. :) :)

Because people don't pay attention. I also think most don't learn how to drive properly.

I love red cars, but always avoid them...because I tend to have a lead foot, and it changes from "red" to "arrest-me-red". (And insurance rates are higher on red vehicles.)

Although a tricky landing (and scary for most people viewing video), keep in mind that these are professional, experienced pilots who are trained to land in (not all) but some very challenging wind conditions. Kudos to the pilot and copilot here.

That video is almost 8 hrs. long. I watched the first 12 or so minutes of it with several landings, and I’ll go back later and watch more. I love watchin’ landings, and takeoffs…look, shiny object…!!!!! :hilarious:
And yes, short of some crazy microburst (which was the cause of the L-1011 crash at DFW back in ‘85), these pilots have all been trained for such situations.

Yup, I wanted a red car...but then decided to get sensible silver instead. For the reasons you listed.
