We like corn in ours. The recipe calls for beef, onions, peppers, tomatoes and spices. I change it around a lot.
I recall Texas Red from friends in the Houston area. Made with a lot of love , meat and spices. Some versions can break someone into a sweat. Only state that I can also enjoy various versions of tacos for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hot sauce even with breakfast.No worries, as I like a lot of different chili recipes with all kinds of stuff in ‘em (even Wendy’s chili ), but, a bowl of just plain ol’ Texas Red is my favorite, as it was something my grandmothers made well, and my Mom still does…!!!!!

You're not alone, just before Christmas we had a pot luck here in our apt. bldg. and someone here made chili including corn. I have to admit that I never saw that before either. It was alright, who can taste the corn in chili, but just seemed odd to me.Haha the recipe I use is called Texas Chili.
