Cast iron frying pans, not just for baconOh boy, here we go again...
"We are super impressed with your CV.. are you open for a remote work."
"Yes I am"
"Can we meet in X"
"I'm currently in Y town, but happy to meet you there at an specified date"
"Oh sorry we wanted X local" (something that was NEVER specified in the job position.
My secondary complaint about comparison is the dreaded inflation comparison. The "Disney has exceeded the rates of inflation". Yes, they have, but it has no basis for comparison. Inflation is measured by the cost of necessary items. Disney is not now and never was a necessity. It isn't counted in the inflation numbers because it is the a luxury item. The cost of a Rolls Royce isn't factured in either. As a luxury item it doesn't factor into what people can afford, it is governed only by what people will pay. Nice work if you can get it.
This is a well known trick that people are using to lure workers.Cast iron frying pans, not just for bacon
On a serious not you deserve so much better than that and why the heck would they care if the work is going to be mostly remote?????????
Is it too early to shoot the groundhog?
Ugh we are in the 18+ range still.View attachment 613668 It's looking more and more like we'll be in the 12-18 inch range

He’s on standby. If it comes this carp, he will be in it probably all next week.I hope your dh doesn't get called out as it seems as if the entire east coast is going to get slammed with various types of carp
I did an inventory this morning and will do a produce/milk/eggs run before dawn on Saturday. I don't need much, mostly fresh salad fixings I have no plans on leaving my house for 10 days after the storm unless we get lucky fingers crossedHe’s on standby. I just finished supplying my pantry with food, propane canisters for my heater, and other supplies. Plus, the mandatory sugar free ice cream and popsicles So, bring it on you big, bad storm!!
I had a coleman propane stove (brand new) that I only used once in about 15 years. I sold it when I moved to my present apartment. How much you wanna bet that it will be needed this weekend. They are being suspiciously vague about how this storm is supposed to affect the Raleigh area. I guess we are on the line between nothing and what the hell was that! He’s on standby. I think your hubby (if called in, off standby), should bring a hibachi and charcoal with him in his truck. He could also have a cooler with hot dogs, etc., buns, and everything to go with them -- and have a barbecue for dinner. (He could invite his electric company pals to join him. It would be fun.) Plus, if he brings a bag of marshmallows, they could toast those, too, for dessert! Since his company sends him out to all kinds of locations, there might not be many restaurants open if the weather is bad/icy, for him to get dinner. He’s on standby. If it comes this carp, he will be in it probably all next week.
