Yeah I went back and forth. Our flight wasn't supposed to land until 9, but then Baltimore County Public schools cancelled schools last night, which never happens; they always wait for the last minute, and then I saw an email from work basically telling everyone they could work from home (they had originally asked non-remote employees to come in) which also never happens. Then Southwest cancelled their 8 am flight out of here last night. So I figured it would be bad. And I also have my grandma with me and didn't need her stressed out.

Both flights I was looking at got cancelled. There was one last night I was looking at but didn't book because it was more expensive that got cancelled, and then every single non-stop out of Charleston to BWI got cancelled today.

Same here. Apparently there was a tornado warning, which I slept through thanks to the prescription painkillers. It was pouring when I went to sleep. It was 80 over the weekend and now it's in the 40s.

That's quite a tall order. Yet at least my pronunciation seemed to be ok.....and....a couple of parents assumed I WAS fluent and they asked me a follow up question. I understood some "key words" and took a chance by responding in espanol. I seemingly answered satisfactorily because their response was either "ok" or "gracias" 😎

For an interesting trip reclining , relaxing on a first class seat size , hot dinner, cold breakfast included , one can take Amtrak from Sanford FL, about one hour from WDW to Lorton VA, outside DC leave in late afternoon from FL , arrive in VA in morning. I've done it going from Lorton to Sanford, an enjoyable trip. It is basically customers bringing their cars ( for a price ) along but Amtrak also accepts passengers without bringing their cars.

or she could take Amtrak from Kissimmee or Orlando directly to Baltimore on an overnight in a sleeper
