After waiting for it to be delivered, I had to walk away. 3-4 weeks for the right one to show up.

We go back on the 3rd though, so it is a fairly short break. We aren't really travelling either, except going to Chicago to see my husband's family but that isn't until a couple days after Christmas. I'm glad we have today off, my husband and I are celebrating Christmas Eve tonight. We did that last year and enjoyed relaxing for the evening instead of him rushing to get back to church as he usually does. So with being off today I am making our big Christmas Eve meal today.

I saw A Charlie Brown Christmas the other night, on PBS. Love that show -- in my top 3 "must see" shows every year at Christmas time.
We watched it a couple nights ago, I didn't see it on PBS. I looked for it on there though because I think you'd mentioned it being on there in a previous post, or maybe it was someone else. But it wasn't on my PBS app, luckily B had a DVD of it at the church so we borrowed it for the evening. Great show!

Years ago I read about a study where they determined that, along with lineage and genetics, access to food was a major factor in how tall people grow.
I know, kinda’ a “duh” thing.
But, many still attach it to lineage and genetics. I know a dude from HS who’s folks we’re pretty average height, and he topped out at 5’-9”. His two younger bros, however, are 6’-7” and 6’-8”. They were all born full-term. Explain that…
Myself and my two younger bros are all 5’-10”, and my twelve-year-younger lil’ sis is 5’-5”.
We had access to plenty of food, so the lineage and genetics part is probably why we didn’t get to 6’-8”…!!!!!

1. The car.
2. The doctor - appointment 11AM, got a call 10AM asking for my referral, have a printout that is apparently not a referral. Call primary MD - they are closed. Appointment canceled. Primary doctor is fired, orthopedist is fired for waiting until one hour before appointment to bring this to my attention, when it was too late to do anything about it. God knows when I will get another appointment.
3. Christmas with one other person in addition to myself and Brian is canceled because the one other person (cousin Tif) was exposed to one other person (her best friend visiting from NY) who tested positive. Tif has a fever and is getting tested. (She is double vaxxed, not boosted, and gave me crap on Thanksgiving for saying yes, everyone needs to get boosted.)
4. It's frickin' cold.
5. Sales are good.
6. B is finally putting up the outdoor Christmas lights.
7. I have xanax. It just kicked in.
