I ate a fish sandwich for dinner. Shrimp ring is one of the items for Christmas Eve meal.

It can be both. I used to have fish as pets meaning goldfish and tropical fish. Never had goldfish or tropical fish as food.

I did grow up with a Friday fish fry tradition though that is fish like perch to eat.

Well, my husband's car bit the dust (mechanical problems) so he is getting a new car. He is not getting a Honda. It is a Buick Enclave, he had one as a loaner car today, his is set to arrive tomorrow or on Christmas Eve. The loaner car was pretty nice. I enjoyed the heated seats.

I don't recall this cookie though my family reunions had a lot of cookies I don't recall names of.

Seems easy to make though. Though if you google search Espiros with the recipe that they have. Totally not the same cookie.

I make a Portuguese cookie called areiras. My favorite though is a German cookie called Pfeffernusse.
