Yikes -- I didn't realize she's been around for 93 years?!

Somehow Minnie Mouse reminds me of perky legendary sitcom actress Betty White who will turn 100 years young in Jan 2022. On her 99th birthday I read, she celebrated at home with a meal of a hot dog and french fries.

I’ve got my Mickey shirt and socks on today! Wearing dress pants though , I have to look somewhat professional at work.😊

Work drama that repeats: Been assigned a task that I have no clue what it is, what it involves, what tech..
Assigned despite answering a resounding "NO" if I had knowledge of this.
Then days later find out that I have to "deliver" this task's resolution. Task that shouldn't have been assigned to me in the first place.. tomorrow. :| :banghead:

The best part? I was not assigned this task directly. It was tasked to a manager on top of me. And with instructions that I should "run" the process once the task has been done. (aka someone has to do the task, solve the issues.. then assign to me to execute).

Edit: to make more clear.
The manager that was assigned the task.. asked me "how is the task going?".
And I was like ?????

So I took my car in on Tuesday to get fixed. I'm picking it up today... it's not fixed. 😭 They have to take it apart to get the dent out. They couldn't do a painless dent repair. So now I have to take it back before I go to South Carolina so they have over two weeks to do it.
Few years ago, we had a dent in the passenger side door. No big deal, but they don't fix dents -- they replaced the entire door. Yikes. (Years ago, they'd just hammer out the dent and fix it. Not anymore, I guess.) :cautious:

Mine is going to take a third week, and the rental is costing me $500+ per week.

This lawyer had better “werk it.”

Fixing a dent is labor intensive. To get people that have the skill it costs mucho dinero. Instead they can order a new door and make money on the markup and then charge for the labor to install and paint and not have a fear of a shoddy body work job. That's one of the reasons why our insurance bills are so high. But, I have to admit most body shops do some spectacular work.
