The lowest here locally is $2.45/gallon for regular.
The lone gas station in some coastal Cali. town is charging $7.59/gallon….

Told my HR today that I want to go overnight for the rest of the holiday season because I really cant deal with the stress of having to do 95% of the work while babysitting the other coworkers who move slow as snails. Did it last year and it beat me up to the point where I took a week off, the week after New Years.

The stress of also dealing with customers too. Then again, I don't deal with the public per say anymore but they're still brats.

And people wonder why there is a worker shortage. If I could retire tomorrow and live comfortably, I would totally do it.

Ones that retire ( early ) and live comfortably start investing at an early age in the markets, live below their means, and their money works harder than they do. Easier said than done but it can be done. ( FIRE ) financially independent retire early. It is a completely different mindset . In my opinion the economy would falter even more if businesses depend on their spending power because ones that FIRE ( that I know ) are frugal with their expenses as an example.
