Happy Farm Market Saturday. Food to be cooked this week including but not limited to: Stuffed peppers, chicken scarpariello, vegan fried rice, green beans with ham and potatoes, dinner arugala salad

Well this year it is going to be worse we are told. Where we live in Northern IL The Utility company invested mega bucks to one bring it into 21st Century and vastly improves reliability and efficiency. But you are correct. In areas that have failed to improve their grids the cost would likely be OUCH!

I lived in my house for 30 years and the first 20 years my January bill went up between $100 to $150 a month. When the improvements were complete the January bill more than half less. We also invested in new LED lightbulbs and light strings for Christmas which also added to major savings after the grid was fixed. We had so many lights for Christmas . Loved it.

You go woman! Both my kids in same month bought houses this summer. Furniture, light fixtures etc were all I assembled. Only sofas I believe were delivered intact and my DD washer dryer which she picked out and delivered installed in less than a week. Everything else was new, never used. (Guy was dead 3 years.)

My DD and son like you, a fan of online shopping especially now trying to find items in stock. The only thing she an issue with was the king padded and tall headboard off the front porch and in house. Amazon even sent a different type truck and 2 drivers. Beyond heavy.
