Update on being back in the office:

These lights are killing my head. I usually work with natural light or a lamp on at most. I have a visor that I threw on plus my glasses. It's helping.

I'm going to Target in a bit. I needed tissues, new batteries for my calculator, sugar, honey, natural cleaner, and I bought the exact same keyboard/mouse combo I have at home for work because I absolutely hate this one.
Have you tried the blue
Light glasses? Just not the dollar kind as most blur. $20-30 and if you have eye insurance they are generally covered

I have the super duper eye filter glasses that are specific for people with migraines. They filter blue light and florescent lights. I also have the night filter on my computer turned on all the time, which reduces blue light. Really though, I'd rather work with just natural light or a lamp on.

I work from home tomorrow. I can't wait. Thankfully I only have to be in the office two days a week.

There are softer ones available. Also, in an office that I used to work in, they replaced all the (normal) lights with those glaring lights. So I told the maintenance guys to either take out every other one in the ceiling (to lower the glare), and/or, just replace the lights with the softer, less glaring ones. They ended up replacing all the lights with the softer light version. (Similar to yourself, I can't deal with glaring lights.)
Funnily, its the opposite for me. I get annoyed by soft lights and I prefer LED-like brightness.
I hate the "saving bulbs" blueish lights most. But tolerate them at high power levels (100W+ equivalents or higher)

That's so sad....and the worst part is that he shouldn't have been mad at HER. That's what dogs do....they act on instinct. It was HIS fault for not putting her on a leash. He should have been mad at HIMSELF...and she's the one who takes the blame. Your daughter is right, though...unfortunately some breeds have a bad reputation and people will assume they are bad. Any dog can be conditioned to be aggressive...it's not the breed, it's the environment.
Yes, he was at fault completely, and he was angry mostly because he was sure the the dog would not do that, but she did and then he was angry. He didn't hurt her, but he did scold her which previously I would have thought that would be the same as scolding a wall. I'm sure it was an anger that she picked up from his voice and tone. But, it is to bad that dog detail memories are short because I know she was upset. You could see it in her eyes and the way she was looking up at him trying to get back to their "friend" standing. Her instinct will again kick in if the situation comes up again, but hopefully HE learned something and won't do that again. I guess we should expect more from the human than the dog.

I always get headaches from the florescent lights when I go back to work after summer and other breaks too. I keep the lights dimmed a lot in my classroom because of that.

:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: Have I mentioned it's been a rough week. I woke up this morning thinking it was Monday:banghead:
I played golf on Friday with someone that I usually play golf with on Saturday. I spent the whole day thinking it was Saturday and Saturday morning I felt like it was Sunday. Fortunately I was back online again by Sunday night. But, it still seemed like an awful long weekend.

Also the food ( chinese, diner, pizza, bagels, etc ) is better in Jersey, NYC, compared to us in the South. I laugh when I see "NY Style Pizza " advertised in my area.

We actually have a very authentic Italian restaurant in our neighborhood that I’ve posted about beforecalled Reale’s.
The family moved here from New York about the same time we did. Also good Chinese and diner food. I rarely eat bagels, so not sure on that.

That isn't processed like turkey that is processed exactly the same as ham. Same color and same taste. It just looks like a freakishly large turkey's leg. Except the name there is nothing similar to turkey that is a Disney Turkey Leg.

Does nobody notice the skin, connective tissue, tendons, the way the meat peels off an actual bone…?!!! :cyclops:
