We just had a Karen similar to this.Ugh...gotta love rude people. When we were in DLP, there was a lady who kept complaining about everyone. We were at Caseys and it was pretty packed at the lines that were open. There was a lady in front of us who was looking at the menu while her family stood outside. She kept shouting to her husband who was standing by one of the doors. At one point, she left the line completely. We thought they had given up. Then she comes back and expects to have her place in line...whatever, she HAD been in front of us, so we let her back in. Then she called over a manager to complain about the guy in front of her, whom she says cut....he was in front of us the whole time! We tried to tell the manager that no, he had been there, SHE had left the line and come back, but he had been there. She said no, he cut in front of her after she got back in line. The manager actually took her order while we were still standing there, so she effectively cut in front of everyone else. There's also a lane with brail and an ear symbol....it's obviosly the disability line and it was kept free for people with disabilities....you couldn't just get in this line. So I watch a manager actually escort these three people up in that lane...one of them is very obviously disabled. He's not in a wheelchair, but you can just see that he is severely mentally handicapped and it looked like he was probably at least legally blind because he never looked at the menu and his eyes were squinted the whole time and they'd had to lead him up to the register. This woman complains about the people cutting and now they were going to get to order before her when she wasn't allowed to use that lane and she had been standing there longer. I explained to her (she was speaking English, so she wasn't French) that I thought that was the line for disabled customers, that I had seen them escorted up there, and she was actually behind us...we had been in line longer than she had, but the manager ended up taking her order in line, too....so she's getting her food before I've even been able to order...she complains about other people getting to order before her, but has no problem doing the same thing herself. I felt bad for the manager, having to deal with rude people, but I wish he'd have handled it differently...all he did was reinforce their bad behavior so now they expect to be first, and he basically let them cut in front of all the guests who were actually behaving themselves. He could have just explained what the one lane was for, and he could have told the one woman that she had forfeited her place in line when she left. DLP was TERRIBLE with people cutting, line jumping, etc.
the crash was benefitting for us, my sister finally stopped taking ugly selfies XDNope, it's down for everyone.
I might actually accomplish something at work today.
The like is for all the things that went wellBack from Animal kingdom.. the parks was as beautiful as ever. Didnt looked that busy.
Consistent 30 to 45 minutes on the passage. The navi boat was longer.. mostly because most people with disabilities and elderly preferred that ride.
Also it seems the show Kitetails conflicts with the characters doing circles around the lagoon to greet visitors. Only seen the same music band twice, and no characters.
My sister refused to see the kite show.. might have to look at youtube later when I return.
Apart from that we are exhausted but happy.
To resume:
ps.. there were some hilarious screams at FOP in our second ride. And it was a dude XD
- Did FOTLK thrice.
- FOP twice
- NAVI river and Kilmanjaro tours once.
- Did birds show.
- Bugs life
In the other hand, kinda ****ed at the service of this hotel.
Wifi has been failing consistently.
It seems their system is failing when we cross from access point to another.
Because it now complains that X mac address has been authorized already. And its the same devices we authorized already. Why is their system complaining that our macs already are authorized if we're using the same phones with the same mac addresses?
To make things worse, the code they gave us, stopped working as soon we changed access points to the hotel section we were in.
Also Flight of passage was amazing as always.
#1 ride for my sis.
Rise being #2.
I'm trying not to spend money thanks. I just bought a bunch of stuff off of IT Cosmetic's website. I had a 20% off code. They didn't have the one eye cream I was looking for at Ulta.@StarWarsGirl if you're signed up for Ulta's emails you should get a $10 off any total purchase over $10 good online or in store
Nope all their social media apps are down. FB, IG, Whatsapp. All down. Telegram was down also. Whistleblower report on FB.
Good idea, guests taking Epcot trash can to a new level.
Ha...this reminds me of when my nephew was little. He's five months older than E, and when they were just toddlers, we were at their house once and they had this big huge black lab named Buddy, and Buddy was a full grown monster of a dog who still thought he was a puppy. He'd jump up on people and could easily knock an adult down. But they had his water and food dishes on the floor, and I'm not even sure that E was walking yet....but she kept going over to the water and food dishes, and I kept telling her no, those were for the dog and dogs don't like it when you touch their food or water. So I kept having to pull her away. My sister-in-law commented that she NEVER used the word "no" with my nephew, and that she just tried to redirect him to something different. So shocking that her little angel was kicked out of preschool for aggression, that he'd continue to throw things on the floor and she'd give it back to him every time, and he'd throw it on the floor again. My inlaws had to remove everything from the coffee table and side tables whenever they visited because he was like a cat....he'd just swipe it to the ground. You could tell either of my kids "no" and they might try one more time, but they'd end up in a time out, so they learned quickly what was not theirs to touch. My nephew was a complete brat. He'd wait until we weren't looking and he'd throw something at A, or he'd stick his foot out to trip A....A is 2 years younger, so he was just barely learning to walk and B went up behind him, stuck his foot out and pushed him forwards. And B's parents refused to do anything about it. Once they got divorced, my BIL did a bit better job with discipline....still not great at it, but better than they were before. But that whole philosphy of "You can't say no, because it damages their self esteem" is just bonkers to me.There is a word that has to be used before any change will happen and the entitled are quieted. That word is NO, it may take awhile, but eventually it will sink in to some very thick skulls. The philosophy being used now is **** off hundreds to make one entitled happy. Somehow, in my mind, that math does not add up.
Really bad timing. E was using Whatsapp with her friends to discuss a school assignment. So Facebook and Instagram are down...
After a bad day, Facebook suffers major outage
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp all suffered outages midday Monday, according to public statements from the three Facebook services.www.cnn.com
When in Las Vegas , the Sephora store I visited is 3 floors and I thought that was massive . I've never been to the biggest Sephora location in the USA which is on 34th street near Penn Station, NYC.I'm trying not to spend money thanks. Although I still really want to go to Sephora. I don't need anything; I just want to go to Sephora.
Oh. Ok. Lucky him!At first I was confused and thought you were talkin’ about my SisIL that used to be a flight attendant for AA…!!!!!
SonIL is still on payed paternity leave, and won’t be back to working from home ‘til the end of the month.
They’re not scheduled to be back at the office ‘til the beginning of February, but, of course, that is subject to change (be extended).
I don’t have the patience to make cinnamon rolls. Those look really good.View attachment 591217
I forgot if I posted this but I made this a while ago. A copycat recipe from a Parisian bakery. Glazed cardamom cinnamon roll.
