The raccoon JUST missed Raccoon appreciation day! He made his transformation to ferret a couple of weeks too soon....perhaps he could have been let out of his cage for a bit in honor of the day!

Yes but who is going to clean up the mess he causes during his 5 minutes of freedom

I've only glanced at a few online photos about the 50th crowds today. There were many more adults than kids in that crowd. ;) (Lots of nostalgia celebration, I guess.) :)
I mentioned this before but once upon a time before you know what dh and I were planning on going down this week going to UNI for a couple of days and then moving to Shades for the 50th doing MK today and then a day or 2 hopping or doing Disney first then UNI depending on UNI rates and crowd predictions

Saw on TV recently approx 100 container cargo ships moored off the Port of Los Angeles basically stuck. Media advising labor shortage of dock workers to unload containers etc off the ships.
I am not surprised on shipping issues have been around for a while. I know shipping issues caused concern for a company that makes a video game system called Polymega. The product is made overseas and gets shipped by boat to Long Beach port.

I heard almost a month ago that Long Beach port had problems also. I don't know if it is still the case. About month ago the backlog for ships was 30 days according to a youtube video. The youtuber in question has a friend that is a crane operator at Long Beach port and is where the 30 days came from for clearing ships.

Not me, but I don't want to deal with him in a cage either or clean a 5 minute mess up. Raccoons are not the nicest in cages to say the least, but cause issues outside of a cage also.

The last time a raccoon got in a cage, I couldn't sleep at all due to all the noise the raccoon made outside. That was many years ago. The raccoon was a mom and found away to get in and out of the home without getting caught before getting a professional to capture her.

A professional hired put the cage at a spot that she got out at night and got trapped. The raccoon was a mom and found away to get in and out of the home without getting caught.

A professional was hired and she got in the cage and all of her babies for that matter. The mom took the longest to be caught in cage. The baby raccoons destroyed suitcase despite suitcase being protected in bag.
