Did you prefer the cherry cobbler, or the apple dessert?
Cherry anything was always my favorite. I had an Aunt that made me cherry pies all the time, because in my youth I called them "ambrosia". I suppose that goes a long way to explaining my constant weight problem. @MinnieM123 My oldest daughter makes me about 3 dozen of the best dark chocolate covered cherries I've ever had anywhere. Christmas needs to show up more then once a year, I guess if it did I wouldn't be able to get through the door to pick them up.

Had a semi-interesting thing happen yesterday. I was doing my morning mall walk, when a huge storm cloud apparently went overhead. I was not aware it was even raining. They made an announcement that the lower parking area (garage) was starting to flood and if we were parked there we should head out to see if we can get out before it gets worse. Anyway I went out of the mall and not a second to soon. Water was flowing through there like a raging river. I had no choice but to wade through it to get to my car. The Mall has a habit of having that happen so I wasn't worried about it structurally, just didn't want my car to grow gills and swim away. It wasn't terribly deep, about even with my knees. Muddy disgusting, fast moving water. It was swift and I had to hang onto the auto's of others to not get knocked down. (in the process it did manage to set off a few car alarms. tee hee)

My car was in a higher spot by a few inches so the water was just below the bottom of my door enabling me to get in it and start it and drive it out with dripping wet shoes and disgustingly dirty white sweat socks. I noticed this morning that the passenger side, the direction the water was coming from had a small accumulation of stuff that was in the water that settled up under the closed door. As I said that spot has a habit of flooding if there is a heavy rain and that one was very heavy. The only thing stopping the water from getting in the Mall itself was a small roadway curb. It might have made it because it still was raining very hard when I was on my way home. We had to drive through a few totally covered roadways near the area. Some engineer must have dosed off when they are planning that mall and it's level.

You were lucky you were able to get to your car, without falling. Really easy to take a tumble when wading through water -- especially as high as you mentioned, up to your knees. Less than a foot of water can knock a person down.

James doesn't gain weight, his brother will if he really works at it:banghead:
