@Tony the Tigger , few days late here, but Happy belated Birthday to you (on Tuesday, the 31st). Sorry, my internet was out late Tuesday when I remembered it, and my internet was out all day yesterday as well. So I just was able to finally log back on here this morning. Belated wishes to you, and I know you guys had a fun trip to WDW to celebrate. :)
But you covered it early, remember? Thank you, again! 😀

Wow....they canceled college classes?? They canceled my classes ONCE and it was the first time in 20 years they had canceled them. We got several feet of snow and the plows couldn't even get out, so none of the professors could get to work.
Dangerous wind and flooding...yeah that's different than snow. They don't want anyone walking in that or people having to commute in that.

But yeah, here in the mid Atlantic where we're just not equipped to deal with snow, we'll shut down. It's not like we put chains on our tires or any of the things you can do in areas with a lot of snow (because sometimes we barely have any).

My senior year I was in Disney the week before classes were supposed to start. There was a blizzard. I got stuck in Disney because no planes were coming in or out of BWI for around 3 days. And then classes didn't start for a week. I had one professor who was freaked out and emailed us the homework. I think in that case they told you if you could go home, you were supposed to.

So the car has two dents about the size of my palm on the roof. Thankfully that's it. No damage to the sunroof or leaks. I already filed a claim with the insurance company.

The next door neighbor and I are FB friends, so we had a very nice conversation about taking that tree down in which I told her it caused damage. She's going to come look at it today and says that they'll get a removal estimate. We'll see how long that takes...

Question : I got reservation for 1 person on Chefs de France. But its FULL.
Its not allowing me to select a party of 2.
Is it possible to add a person IN-SITU?

Background: Was going alone, but my sister is tagging along.. will be her first time in WDW or any park in general other than the Mexican Six Flags.

Don't worry about it. They have to give you a two top, so if you say, "Oh, I have an extra person" it won't be a problem.

Had that happen in 2019. I was in between jobs and ended up coming for the entire trip instead of part of it. We had a few reservations for 3 but we showed up with 4. They were always able to accomodate.

Thanks, will leave things as they are then.
