73??? That doesn't sound like youth, it sounds like insanity. I suspect the mother and child will be well taken care of when Mick is, well, otherwise disposed.
It could be worse. Bernie Ecclestone became a dad again last year and he was 89 going on 90 years old at the time. Bernie is well known as the former executive of Formula One Racing. That kid is not going to have a lot of memories of his dad.

The city I live in today has its 19th 90 day of the year despite not having a single 100 degree day yet. We way past the average of 9 90 degree days in a year already. It is the most 90 degree days in a year in decades.

My husband gets sad when he hears of band members from his favorite 80's groups have passed. One recently was the lead singer of Glass Tiger.
As a forever fan of The Beatles, my staff, at work, went to all kinds of trouble to not tell me about John Lennon being killed. We were putting our newspaper to bad that night so we were all working late. It was a little shocking, but for some reason didn't bother me that much. I think due to my age, those that are dying from old age or old age related, are much more pinching now.
