I'm still surprised some of them have lasted this much considering the crazy stuff they did. A lot with drugs as well.He was treated for throat cancer in 2004, one site said that was the cause of death don't know if that is true or not. We are loosing my 60's rock band members === scary
I have no idea. I have the same problem with my girls, they have changed drastically over the last 40 years whereas I have not changed a bit. It's probably a Christmas miracle. How on earth can they be getting so old and we stay the same Goofyernmost Ha Ha
I don't see cute so much as ancient. But it's all in the eye of the beholder I'm sure.Paul's still cute.
Peace and Love!I may follow Ringo on IG.
I still recall when Paul was busted for pot arriving at the airport in Japan 1980. The 11 date Japan concert tour was cancelled and Paul spent 11 days living in a 4 ft by 8 ft prison cell in Japan before he was released.I don't see cute so much as ancient. That just made him cooler. The Japanese love him and he was allowed back many times. He stated on a talk show recently that he has given up drugs now mostly for his grandchildren. Either that or he has gotten much better at not getting caught. I'm starting to think that he has quietly retired at this point. He was here in Raleigh just before the Pandemic and, I honestly, sadly have to say, his voice is gone along with his ability to write new music. I would guess that the well might have run dry. It's OK since he has already written more beloved music that most anyone on the planet. It's time to enjoy all that work. Their are no tours scheduled this year or next, at this point.I still recall when Paul was busted for pot arriving at the airport in Japan 1980. My grandparents told me about the 1962 Mets. I don't think the O's aren't quite that bad. Maybe close but........................................... If they keep going they still have a chanceOh lordy. I saw the score...yikes.
Does anyone besides me remember going to Woolworth's dining area and pop a balloon that had a price inside. You picked the balloon and whatever the price stated in the balloon was what you paid for a banana split. Anywhere from $1.25 down to 10 cents. No damn wonder I'm the size I am.

I know that feeling because I was a Met fan, but at least they won the Series in 1969. I sat in ratty old hotel in San Francisco watching it on a 12 inch black and white TV. I was there to catch my flight to Vietnam the next day, but it was a fun few minutes. My grandparents told me about the 1962 Mets. I don't think the O's are quite that bad. I'm trying to remember the detail, but there is no sense in irritating my braincells since it is not all that important. That picture opened up a file but not completely open. It was like winning a million if you hit the 10 cent'er. That didn't happen often. I don't remember even if I ever did.No but that sounds like fun
My husband gets sad when he hears of band members from his favorite 80's groups have passed. One recently was the lead singer of Glass Tiger. He was treated for throat cancer in 2004, one site said that was the cause of death don't know if that is true or not.
