I'm still surprised some of them have lasted this much considering the crazy stuff they did. A lot with drugs as well.

I have no idea. I have the same problem with my girls, they have changed drastically over the last 40 years whereas I have not changed a bit. It's probably a Christmas miracle.

I still recall when Paul was busted for pot arriving at the airport in Japan 1980. The 11 date Japan concert tour was cancelled and Paul spent 11 days living in a 4 ft by 8 ft prison cell in Japan before he was released.

That just made him cooler. The Japanese love him and he was allowed back many times. He stated on a talk show recently that he has given up drugs now mostly for his grandchildren. Either that or he has gotten much better at not getting caught. I'm starting to think that he has quietly retired at this point. He was here in Raleigh just before the Pandemic and, I honestly, sadly have to say, his voice is gone along with his ability to write new music. I would guess that the well might have run dry. It's OK since he has already written more beloved music that most anyone on the planet. It's time to enjoy all that work. Their are no tours scheduled this year or next, at this point.

Does anyone besides me remember going to Woolworth's dining area and pop a balloon that had a price inside. You picked the balloon and whatever the price stated in the balloon was what you paid for a banana split. Anywhere from $1.25 down to 10 cents. No damn wonder I'm the size I am.

I know that feeling because I was a Met fan, but at least they won the Series in 1969. I sat in ratty old hotel in San Francisco watching it on a 12 inch black and white TV. I was there to catch my flight to Vietnam the next day, but it was a fun few minutes.

I'm trying to remember the detail, but there is no sense in irritating my braincells since it is not all that important. That picture opened up a file but not completely open. It was like winning a million if you hit the 10 cent'er. That didn't happen often. I don't remember even if I ever did.
