I dunno, one of my favorite things about Target is us turning drive up orders off because of nasty thunderstorms and then those customers coming in and complaining about it. It shows you who cares more about their order than they do employee safety.

It was 97 degrees out and is supposed to be 96 degrees for the next two days.
It was 103 in the sun this afternoon on my weather station in my backyard! 🥵
Now the well water pump went out around 7. My hubby and a neighbor are out in the rain trying to get it working. I can’t take a shower because we had only a trickle of water. We have four families on our well. 😟

Thank you for that tip. (Still, too hot for me -- I only like chilly and cold weather.) :joyfull:
I worked with someone from New Orleans who lived in FL that had a bizarre way of enjoying the cold. She would make her favorite homemade gumbo soup , while turning her home AC down to 60 degrees, bundle up in sweater and jacket. She then told me she enjoyed enjoying her soup so she can warm up.

I have to admit that cold weather must be better. As I recall it was a whole lot more expensive to live in the cold then the heat. Personally I found it to be over $2500.00 a year cheaper, (heating and AC), down here in the south. So cold must be a premium product. Even with AC's running full blast everything pretty much stays stable.
