Just based on my experience. Out of 11 ish trips to WDW two were 417 and the rest were I4. Sand lake road won hands down for speed.
Good to know. (Funny thing is that I haven't rented a car down there in probably 14 years, but something I can share with others that may want to drive down there.) Then again, the next time I go down to FL, I could always pass along your tip to my chauffeur. :joyfull:

This is our sales tax situation here in Texas, and we also have a sales tax “Holiday” before school starts...

Wanted to update the MA sales tax holiday information a bit here. I heard on the news a few days ago, that the Governor is suggesting that for all of August and September -- that there be a TWO-MONTH sales "holiday"!! Now, I haven't a clue if this will actually get the approvals needed, but I'm following this for any further developments. (Currently, he's getting a lot of pushback from some others, so it's tentative at best.)

That is truly amazing you made faster time with multiple stop lights , stop and go relentless Orlando traffic and that is just Sand Lake Rd not even getting on I4 and I will leave it as that but SLR has the worlds biggest McDonalds for many years ( 19K square ft ) on the corner of I-Drive and Sand Lake but the Frankfurt Germany airport has now the biggest McDonalds location with 43K square ft .

The flights come in after rush hour so the I-4 is never busy. Have got caught up in it on the drive to the airport

I should have never let my kids watch food network as they had a special just before a trip on various special McDonalds around the world. Let's just say it's on our been there and never going again list.
