That is not good for Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant and Butik in Door County. Door County is usually cooler than rest of the state of Wisconsin during the summer since the land is located between the bay and Lake Michigan.

Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant and Butik has goats on the sod roof, but according to wikipedia, they get remove at a certain temperature and at night. Tourists want goats on roof during the day and wouldn't be happy with the character you posted. Those goats are on the roof late May to Mid October.

The goats on sod roof is one of the things that draw people to their restaurant/shop. The place has a online goat cam. There even is goat parade and goat fest.

I learned early on, that If you know you’re eventually gonna’ turn the A/C on a particular day, the key is not to wait so long that it’ll take a bunch of time and $$$$$ to cool it off.
“Strategery”...!!! ;)
I am fortunate that I have central AC, but year round it is set at 73 degrees and never turned off. Logically it is a lot cheaper to just have to make up one degree occasionally then to have to fight off 10 or more degrees all at once. It seems like about every two years I am able to set it a degree higher and still feel comfortable. Viva la heat!

Even when I lived in Vermont, I had my window AC's on thermostat and did the same thing.

You have some of the strongest survival skills. Really happy for all your personal and professional success through the years. And very happy you found this forum, as you've also shared your happiness and encouragement with us all. (Oh, not to mention -- Kylie chose you to be her human, and I have 100% faith in a dog's judgement! 🐶 :joyfull: )

Best wishes to Brian -- hoping his new medical career path continues moving forward, in a positive manner. :)
Couldn’t have said it better.

I had a small cup of vanilla frozen yogurt, that turned into a liquid yogurt drink in just a few minutes -- I was in the kitchen doing a few things and there's no A/C in there. It was hotter than I thought! (Outside temperature is 95 today -- ugh. Hate the heat.)

First, y’all send us “SNOWMAGEDDON 2021!!!!!!!!!!!”, now y’all are stealin’ our summer heat...it was only 94* here today...!!!!!!! :eek:o_O:D:hilarious:;)

Every place I’ve ever lived in Texas, since we moved back in ‘76, has had central heat and air.
And yep, it’s a balance. We actually don’t use A/C much in the winter, and definitely no heat during the summer, but, we also have ceiling fans that make quite a difference in the summer...!!! :)

Wow, still totally surprised that we’re well into June with not even one trip-digit temp. July and August are obviously our toastiest months, but, this is just weird. 94* just isn’t hot to me, and, it certainly doesn’t feel like summer here ‘til we have multiple days in a row of trip-digit temps... :cyclops:

You wouldn't like where in Wisconsin I live in terms of summer heat. The last time we had a day 100 degrees or warmer was in July 5th 2012. Before July 2012, the last 100 degree day was almost 17 years prior.
