Glad your second shot went well. I just got my first one Sunday.
It's so funny how some people love something and others find it as you say "icky".
That's why we are so blessed to be able to walk down the aisles of our big supermarkets and select from tons and tons of items. We have so many choices! There are plenty of places on this earth where people couldn't say that.

Sometimes way too many. The supermarket I go to is like the size of a football field. I actually don't really know what 100 yards looks like but I'm going with it.

When it comes to candy, I stick to my favorites: M&Ms, Jellybeans, Hot Tamales, and the occasional Hershey's Kisses and KitKat. Most other candies I can do without. I never even heard of Raisinettes until Sheldon mentioned them on a BBT episode.

Would rather have peanut M&M's. Eww gummy candy. Though I did have Jolly Ranchers and Skittles when I was younger and then when you get braces, you really can't have that stuff anymore and I haven't since. Never had Tamales. Kisses and Kitkats are ok. I'll eat them if they're there but I'm not going to buy them.

Let's see what else. Snickers, Twix and Baby Ruth, I don't like. Caramel issues. But I will eat a Snickers ice cream bar.

Oh Twizzlers is a no no either.

Surprised how many people never heard of or tried chocolate covered raisins. They’re ok, I prefer them in a trail mix rather than standalone. Wouldn’t necessarily seek them out, wouldn’t throw them out.

All candy in a movie theater was too overpriced for me to ever buy.

I gave up processed sugars many years ago, but I do have my cheat moments. The $100,000.00 bar was the best, hands down. I get some sugar free versions now and then.

Getting more used to the taste of dark chocolate, but prefer milk.

I managed a large independent pharmacy in NJ in the 90’s. They made chocolate covered strawberries. (They also made fudge, and had these molds for chocolate body parts you couldn’t show on network TV which, thankfully, I never saw used (but apparently they had been at some point!)

Anyway, one day a girl working in the candy department sliced up a perfectly ripe banana and dipped the pieces into the strawberry dipping chocolate.

It was the best thing a girl has ever done for me. 🤣💕 🍌 🍫

Finally got my first vaccine shot yesterday. It's one of those intramuscular injections, so it stung (reminds me of more powerful flu vaccine shot that came out a few years back). No big deal, but was a bit surprised. It was the Pfizer. Next shot in mid-April.

Anyway, venue was big (a huge temple that donated function room space inside, to one of the larger city hospitals). Whole thing was very efficient, despite the numbers of the public coming in each hour and all the medical staff on-hand. Hubs came with me, because he insisted . He got his the day before, and I said that if he didn't croak within 15 minutes after his, most likely, neither would I. :p
Hmmm! He almost seem to anxious. Just kidding, it's nice to have someone that cares about you that much. 🙂

Movie hack: Wear either a jacket with big pockets or cargo pants, stop in at the local Dollar Store fill them up with what is essentially $4 boxes of theater candy and pig out while watching the flicks. To compensate I usually buy a beverage, which almost requires a second mortgage to pay for, so the guilt is drowned.

I brought a bottled water in my cargo shorts once - and the guilt and shame were too much! 😆

Biggest disappointment moving from NJ to FL:

The pasta aisle is just a pasta section. 😳
