We still have power and gas, but, as of a little while ago, we no longer have running water.
Megan, Emmy, and Daniel are same, as well as my folks.
It’s not a frozen pipe issue, but a delivery issue.
Fortunately, we have plenty of bottled water, but, if it’s off for a while, we’ll probably hafta’ melt snow to use for the toilets...!!!!! :D:hilarious:
good luck

And it snowed, and snowed. I had off for a few days, for parent/ teacher conferences, and Pres. Day. Today was called for eLearning. And, I hear, more coming at us by Thursday. As it is, the snow hills on either side of my driveway are crazy high, and the opening to the street is getting narrower and narrower.
And today it kept lightly snowing Hourly. So over this never ending snow

That reminds me of 2011. Christmas 2010 I was visiting and setting up for my move to NC. The day after Christmas Raleigh and the surrounding area got 10 inches of snow. However, the following day the sun came out and the melt began and within two days it was all gone. Since I was planning my move for April 15th, I had to get packed up, get rid of a lot of accumulated treasures that I had no room for in my new apartment. I left NC two days before New years and when I arrived in Vermont the warm air had gotten to us as well and most of the snow was gone. Then on the 1st of January we had a good sized snow storm and this may seem hard to imagine, even in the north, but it snowed every single day until the day I left. I had to wear a jacket all day on April 15th. Light snow, but a cold bitter wind. I think it was just Vermont telling me that I was making the right choice getting the hell out of Dodge.

It was 1989 and we had hurricane Hugo in Sep our house was a mess 5' of seawater flooded it and I had been working on it and it was now Dec and it started snowing had my 2 young sons with me. Before I knew it there was 15" of snow on the ground. Packed up my boys and drove 20 miles back to where we were renting an apartment. There wasn't a car any where and I could hardly see where the road was. Hit a patch of ice and the truck started spinning told the boys hold on. Made it back of course the boys had to tell mom what dad did --caught heck. Turned out to be a blizzard when the forecast was light snow. The boys and the golden retriever never were in snow and they had a ball playing in it remember they had to wear soaks on there hands hand no gloves. Coastal SC that much snow is unheard of. Lasted 3 days warmed up and it was gone
