It really turned out nice!!!

Thanks...!!! :)
It was rough goin’ many times, and myself, my 2 younger bros, and our folks had to chew rear ends many times (not gonna’ go into details, and we’re not particularly picky people, but, there was just so much brainless stupidity with the rebuild, and it really shoulda’ been done about 6 months ago), but, in the end it did indeed turn out nice, and our folks are happy, and that’s all that really matters...!!!!!!! :joyfull::inlove::happy:

I hope that if the fast pass system does come back to WDW that it comes back in the form of Disneyland's Maxpass system. It is (was) like the old paper fast pass system and fp's could only be made day of and only after park entry. I like the move of restaurant ADR's from 180 to 60 days, it still is planning far in advance but not so far in advance.
I'm not paying for fp it'll cut into our food budget;)

Kind of a gray day and some random spits of precipitation but it is Saturday and that makes it a wonderful day! :) We were supposed to go snowshoeing today but with the wet heavy snow that has turned icy the trail we wanted to go to won't be in good condition so I guess I will just snuggle with the dog today!:joyfull: Hubs requested spaghetti this weekend so I have a batch of homemade spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove. I haven't decided if we will eat it tonight or let it meld a little more for tomorrow. Oh the tough decisions of a Saturday! Have a great day all!
It's horrible outside here icy/snowy, dark, cold and yucky. I didn't feel like rolling enchiladas so I made enchilada lasagna

Went to a Cracker Barrel today for my eldest Daughters 47th Birthday. I swear that their birthdays age me more then my own. All I can think of is, she was just born yesterday. How can she possibly be 47 and how can I be old enough to have a child that is 47 years old. So the celebration is just a little bittersweet. Good thing I have another daughter that is only 45. (sigh)

Oh, there's definitely something to be said for watching lousy movies. It turns the viewing experience into a whole new tier -- pointing out all the inane situations, dialogue, movie sets, etc. Sometimes, I've had more laughs over hideous films, than more professionally produced comedy ones!

(Reminds me a little of MST 3000 (Mystery Science Theater 3000), back in the 90s. That was one of my favorite shows with the bots who would zoo on bad movies. Don't know if you ever saw it, but it was hilarious! :p )
I love MST 3000!! "But he's not an alien!" We say that whenever we see someone with a big forehead. I tried to find some online to watch with the kids, but couldn't find them.

There's always a certain level of planning if we go anywhere. Allergies, we have to know where to eat. Disney food in general we can eat almost anywhere but not everywhere. No ADRs good luck finding a place except qs which only works for so many days in a row unless you know how to avoid burgers and dogs for too many meals in a row, Now Disney has added the reservation system which will be in place until???????????? Before that it was working around EMH. I miss the paper FP system because FP planning months out was a PITA. That's part of why next time we go to Florida it will be UNI it involves less planning not to mention it's cheaper. We could walk up to almost every TS and get seated without an ADR. That said their ADR system while harder to navigate because some were Open Table and some were UNI site was easier to deal with because we didn't have to book months in advance if there was a place we wanted to try.
Do you eat in the parks or go to Citywalk? Because we found nothing in the parks that was appetizing. We did eat at The Three Broomsticks for lunch one day, and that was pretty good, but the food at the other counter service places we tried was meh to inedible. We left the parks every night and ate at an Olive Garden, Perkins, Cheesecake Factory, etc...I did want to try the chocolate place, but we never made it there and I don't even know if they do actual meals or if it's just dessert stuff.

I honestly miss the old days of restaurants where you could just walk up. We loved that on our honeymoon there...it was so easy. You got hungry and decided what you wanted and went there. Now if you want to eat at specific places, you have to plan your entire trip around the available ADR times so you don't have to go back and forth between parks to get to restaurants. I like having a basic plan, but I don't like having to make the reservations so far in advance and having to make it work. If the bus is late, I don't want to be charged because we didn't make it to the ADR....I want to just be able to show up when we get there. I don't understand why you have to make ADRs anyway...you still have to wait for a table, even if you reserve.

Both. In parks Potter both good QS in the Jurassic area is good chicken, turkey legs and a few other choices DO NOT go to the burger place, Mythos and Lombard's were both really good, Confisco was ok. City walk Margaritaville, Antojotos were both great. The guys said NBC was ok. I hear Toothsome is really good. We enjoyed the wok sit down at their version of Poly. I also hear NBC in studios is good
