That would be a fun idea for employees too. No staff Christmas/Holiday party this year either. So I organizing a Christmas Cheer exchange for staff that want to participate, it is an alcohol exchange (Christmas Cheer). The exchange will happen off school grounds, actually at my porch since I live the closest to school. It is a drop off one day and a pick up a couple days later in the spirit of a White Elephant exchange.

They're doing a cookie/goodie exchange where my dh works. They're going to set up a table and one by one they get to drop next to each person's name tag and then one by one they get to go in and pick up their haul. Usually some of they guys donate to the people who can't get home to see family word is most if not all will do that of the are this year

I want a new coat but the problem is both of my winter coats are London Fog, not getting a new one anytime soon I'm going to make a new fleece jacket after the holidays

Anybody else having problem with telemarketers? I'm on the no call lists but keep getting calls from extended car warranty companies. I keep blocking them but they call from different numbers. Sometimes computer and sometimes human I ask what call when it's human and they hang up. I would use my whistle but they usually call when my dh is sleeping

Yes. Just got one this morning. I've begun answering the phone in Spanish. They really don't know what to do with that. It's only backfired once.

Actually I need to change my current alarm because I've been incorporating it into my dreams. Sometimes it's a phone ringing, sometimes it's a fire alarm going off, but it doesn't do its job and I just end up thinking, "Wow, that's annoying, someone should turn that off."

Can't say the state in the US, but in Mex they are becoming a problem.
They are calling me EVERY DAY at least 3 times a day, from 3 different companies like clockwork. Always trying to hide what company they are (when they are ALWAYS the competitors of the current companies I am in) while trying to BS themselves with "amazing offers to your service".(they are not)

He has had so many conference and zoom calls, he barely had time for lunch so he hasn’t opened it yet. I will let you know when he does. It will probably be after work.

YES! And it's REALLY obnoxious. The car warranty scam one is rampant.

That's a great job he has -- he can gab on the phone all day with his pals, and get paid for it! Good for him!
