Should make you smile @StarWarsGirl

Yup.

I feel like some women who get to be around my age have a strong desire to have children (my mom did; my aunt says she never wanted to be anything but a mother, and she had three kids when she was my age). I seem to be missing that desire.

I think the thing for me is that I absolutely loathe the idea of being pregnant. The way I see myself becoming a parent is if a child came into my life who needed a home and I was in the position to give them one. Given my cousins on both sides, this isn't that far a stretch. 🙄

One of my besties just recently had her tubes tied because she has no intention of ever having children...it took FOREVER to finally get it approved by the docs because she's still young. I say good for her! Just because it's considered a "life milestone" by many doesn't mean she needs to jump on that train if it isn't something she and her husband think they'll enjoy.

My guess is that I probably would have a hard time conceiving anyway because of no longer having a thyroid. It's definitely possible, but I have to wonder if it would throw everything off. I felt this way before I had it removed, but now the thought of being pregnant is even more terrifying because if your levels get screwed up you can miscarry.

Ohhh...that's no good. There's always adoption or fostering (speaking as an adopted kid)...if that's something you're interested in.

It's all in the water what makes NYC and NJ pizza too notch. There is a pizza place in Tampa called Eddie 's and Sam's NY Pizza. The owners import NYC tap water to Tampa to make the crust of their pizza. Many NY/NJ folks relocate to FL. It's a smart move because they know what Real Pizza tastes like. It's embarrassing when Dominos was voted best pizza in Orlando several years ago.
I heard similarly about Mexican street foot, but its not the water that adds the "extra" flavor :hilarious: :hilarious: :hilarious: :hilarious:

I never had that feeling either. And throughout my pregnancy I never felt attached to my daughter like everyone else either. If anything I resented her for sucking the life and energy out of me and making everything hard for nearly a year. I honestly really worried about not being able to bond with her because I just never had that feeling like I wanted a baby. But then they put her on my chest for the first time and we were instant soul mates.

I could have led a perfectly happy life without kids. And my life is also perfectly happy with her. She's my little ride or die.

Life is an adventure either way 💖💖

Joisey is wayyyy better we have real pizza, real bagels, the Parkway way on which you park on the way to the shore on Friday nights, real football, both cranberry and blueberry wine and most importantly we can order Joffrey's and get both Dunkin and Starbucks on our way to work! edit 95 goes almost straight to Disney
Just for the sake of accuracy, if you don't take a sharp right turn onto I-4 from I-95 in Daytona, you are going to be a very long ways away from WDW by time you realize it. However, Miami is nice this time of year (bring your gun). Don't bother with a mask because they will probably shoot it off your face anyway.

That's not entirely true. Sometime we go to Kennedy first and take 528 into Orlando

I knew this would happen at some point, and it happened today.

I was getting ready to start new hire training when I had to say, "Please excuse me. I am working from home and must deal with a meowing cat."
Too funny! My DH was on a zoom call yesterday, and one of the men had to stop and feed his kitty. DH said everyone laughed. The kitty was really loud. 🤣
