I'm baffled by this. Didn't people learn anything about shortages this year? When items like TP and paper towels finally came back and there were plenty of the shelves, I'd just buy a package each week for a few weeks. So I have a reasonable amount in reserve, but I never went nutty buying a ton of this stuff all at once. When people hoard stuff all at once, that's what creates shortages. 🤦‍♀️
I buy almost everything in quantity it's cheaper;) and the boys.............:arghh::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: edit I also used a coupon on the TP:D

I always thought lemon ruined a dessert as a kid! (Exception: lemon ice.)

And, though I generally prefer vanilla over chocolate, the filling in these made them my favorite. I would eat all around the edges first and then get a big bite of mostly filling with just a little cake.

If it makes you feel better (I never got around to telling you guys this) Brian’s nephew started feeling unwell the night of the Sunday event for his Dad in Melbourne and tested positive on Monday - but to my knowledge, no one else has tested positive. (And he’s better already.)

But we’re seeing big increases. I think Halloween did something (to adults.) Two friends tested positive yesterday.

I’m getting tested again for peace of mind. We all are before Thanksgiving with his cousin and 2 other people. Total head count of 5, inner circle.

Kylie has been sick again, making a vet appointment today. She’s 11 now.

Sorry about your pup, and I hope she's doin' much better by now.

Hope ya' tested negative, and that all the rest are doin' well.

On a lighter note, I used to eat around the filling of Hostess Cupcakes too for that final creamy-licious bite...!!! :hungry::)

Brown rice crispies in banana almond milk - preferably with banana on top. Game, set, match!

for extra perfection, a sprinkle of this on top:

Been making my own granola. Steel cut oats, chopped walnuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, almond butter, and maple syrup. Mix all together and put in the oven for 1hr 15 minutes. If you want measurements I will give them.

It would take the entirety of the rest of fall, all of winter and most of spring to get all ours out of the yard and driveway with that one. I do have a small battery blower to blow off the carport. It does a great job. Surprising how much air those battery blowers are able to put out.

We only have one maple tree and a Japanese Cherry in our front yard. All our other border trees are evergreen. There were plenty of leaves from the maple a few days ago, but the wind was so crazy that all the leaves got blown into our neighbors yard. 🤣

Again not my pantry it contains items containing gluten;)

Hey Figgy, did you always have a gluten allergy, or did you develop this at some point as an adult?

Allergies are interesting in the sense that sometimes they go away, as mysteriously as they appear. One of my brothers was lactose intolerant as a kid, but when he reached his teens, he was able to drink milk, etc. without any problem. 🤔 Now, my mother, on the other hand, was lactose intolerant her entire life. 🤔
