Yah, too bad they don't wear a big "A" so that you can spot them from a distance, and avoid!!!
@MinnieM123 have you ordered you dinner for next week yet? or at least figured out where you're going to order from
I was thinking about doing that. My dh has a 4 day weekend so of course he wanted to BBQ and the boys wanted a traditional turkey in addition to that as always. I guess it would be different if I was feeding 2 instead of 20Nope. That would be organized.
(We're thinking we'll just blow it off this year, and have a regular dinner that day, sans any extras.) I'll watch the Macy's abbreviated parade -- that's about the only thing "traditional" I can imagine doing this time. Assuming next year's Thanksgiving will be a lot more normal.

The good thing about not having company I shouldn't have to cook afterwards for a couple of days and maybe fingers crossed be able to freeze some of the meat for soup later in the winterYah, it makes a big difference. Also, in my case, hubs will eat turkey, but it's far from his favorite. Even though we've gone out for dinner for Thanksgiving, (for quite a few years now), he'd always order fish or steak.

Still going to do the holiday cleaning Seeing I have both boys home full time, the house needs itYes, all that, plus you don't have to clean the house for company, either!

But, and, but they, and um, but they wouldn't,FTFY
We are just putting some baby back ribs in the oven. I will fix some potato salad and some veggies. Maybe fix a dessert but that will be it.Yah, it makes a big difference. Wouldn't even know where they work, sadly. I believe I am entirely different building. They have a meeting scheduled at 4 to fix the issue. Can you take your laptop and phone in to the office (socially distance/mask) to the IT guys? They may be able to troubleshoot the issue there, better than remotely. (I say this, because my friend had some issues with the phone thing/working from home as well at the beginning. He took everything in and the IT people figured out whatever the issue was. His system has worked fine ever since.)

My southern is coming through, I’m afraid.Who broke them?
The Macy's Day Parade must be watched.Nope. That would be organized.

How come so much of your food is broken that you have to fix everything? Oh, wait, I forgot, down south we tend to fix all kinds of food products don't we? Just this morning I fixed some fried eggs and while I was at it I fixed some grits. That's what I like about the south. We are just putting some baby back ribs in the oven.
