What are your standards? We always did turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, rolls, black olives, and canned cranberry sauce. Sometimes my mom would also get out a jar of homemade zucchini pickles, but since I don't like pickles, I didn't eat those. I didn't eat the cranberry sauce either, and when I was growing up, I never ate gravy, but I do now.
Close to our meal. Except we never do the green bean casserole. Just some can corn, and regular green beans will suffice. Everyone mostly fills up on the turkey mash potatoes, stuffing and gravy. My grandson adores the cranberry sauce, as do I, and it just tastes so good when it's all eaten together.

I play Animal Crossing, and like to watch the Youtube videos regarding the game. For those in the know, I have a 5 star Island, and my house is all paid for. Looking forward to the Winter update. My husband is buying me an Animal Crossing Switch for Christmas.

This was supposed to be my WDW vacation time, before I cancelled. My vacation money is still in the bank. Hopefully I will get back to WDW when the world gets back to normal. Hoping/wishing, I am still fairly mobile when that happens. I will be 74 next year, and don't get along as good as I used.
My bff's mother traveled extensively until she was 95, some of my grandparents past that

My thyroid got another bad test this year. I was tested in January, July, September and now this month. Only reason I didn't have a 2nd thyroid test before July was mine was originally was canceled in March by the doctor's office due.

My TSH levels have high and low depending on when I had the test. My tsh levels were low on my last test compare to them being high back in September.

Doctor is messing with my medication pill dose again.

Yes of course!!

I'm really hoping so! I need to order the shelves today so it will mainly depend on when they were ready

Both ambitious AND crazy 😂😂 the rest of my house is pretty whimsical... It's got like, a minimalist hippie vibe. The kitchen just always felt off. I know it might downgrade the value of the house a little, but I don't plan to move for the next couple decades and I just want to enjoy it rather than thinking about what the next person will enjoy. I think it's going to look really pretty and open and light

Yep, ya’ want it how you’ll most enjoy it if y’all/you are gonna’ be there long-term...!!! :)
Kitchen upper cabs v. open shelves isn’t something most folks would walk away from if they liked the rest of the home. Open kitchen shelving is very popular right now, but, who knows in a coupla’ decades...either way, not a deal breaker to me. Heck, my grandparents homes never had upper kitchen cabs and the lower cabs were covered by minimal curtains on twine that you could slide...!!!!! :hilarious:
However, doin’ things like removin’ room options could seriously affect home value...
My next youngest bro suggested early on during my folks fire rebuild that they should expand all of the kitchen and dining room into the game/bonus room to make it all much larger...?!?!?!
Dude, you just took out a major flex room option, and knocked a bare minimum of 50K off resale...!!!!! 🤪:hilarious:
Fact is, the dining and kitchen are large enough as is, and I don’t even know what he was thinkin’... 🤔

Yeah,.. the doors were in pretty bad shape anyway so even if I wanted to sell in the next couple years I would have had to replace at least that. IDK. Normally I only do things to the house that would improve is value, but this is going to improve my quality of life, and my happiness, so it's happening 😂😂

Again, as I posted, what you’re doin’ wouldn’t be a major resale hit, and who cares anyway, if you’re gonna’ be there long-term...y’all need to enjoy it.
But, what my next youngest bro was suggesting was ridiculous...that room has always been an overflow option and a Godsend...
