No, per the health department email, household is not required to quarantine.

Where my dh works if anybody in the house has to quarantine it's 2 weeks leave for the person who works there

I think that different companies have different policies, but as far as the health department/cdc, the household can continue without quarantine unless develop symptoms.

Well, it finally happened. T’s entire class is quarantined. Someone’s results came back at 7:am this morning. I didn’t see the 7:10am email, took him to school, had to go pick him back up from the office.

Welcome back, distance learning.
I do think things will go more smoothly this time, they have been preparing for this exact situation.

Well, I hope it goes better this time. Over here, they aren't quarantining entire classes. Only students who had close contact for more than 15 minutes with the infected person. So basically just close friends. I'm surprised they haven't had more students infected with it, but I think only around 10 since school started back up in September. Not really too bad I guess.

Those are the rules we have too. If it was anyone other than the teacher, then it wouldn’t have been the full classroom.
