Today is my DD’s birthday. She is 35. When did that happen??!! It goes by so fast.

Both my sons and grandkids are in Gulf breeze FL just east of Pensacola, just talked to #1 son he said the water is rising and its been blowing hard. and Sally has yet to make landfall about 50 miles to the west of them in AL . Makes it bad is this storm is moving so slow and it picked up strength overnight winds 105. Praying they will all be safe and Sally makes a quick exit

My blood is a tad thin from being down south. It's in the 60s and I'm in leggings and a sweatshirt.

That sounds perfectly normal to me

Prayers and pixie dust they remain safe

They have no power and the storm surge came up pretty high #1 son seems to be OK. #2 son the water rose and the pressure pushed the pool lining out (before flooding the pool) and it is ripped, south facing windows are leaking from horizontal rain and wind. They have about 16" to go before the water floods the down stairs. Storm is down to 80 and hopefully it won't flood any further.

Sounds comfy!! That's my favorite style if I don't have anywhere to be! One reason why I prefer the cooler weather. I can't wear a comfy sweatshirt in 90 degree heat.

@MySmallWorldof4 , how are your kids doing at the beginning of this new school year? (I know you teach them at home, so no big changes, etc., but it is still a new "year" for them.) How is the tutoring going for your foreign student (online)?

With all the above happening, I'm sure you're very busy these days!
