So my MIL passed on Monday two weeks after her son but know way she knew. Her funeral was yesterday, a Covid breakout waiting to develop too.

My DD boss sent her lovely flowers 2 weeks ago when her Dad passed. When she told him she’d be gone again on Friday cause her Grandmother passed she said he just slumped on Zoom. Today more flowers arrived from her boss

How do they do that? My DD is a big tie dye fan so she is enjoying

Those are beautiful! And so thoughtful of her boss! I've seen this on pinterest or something, where they splice stems and put each part in a different color or water so it absorbs the different colors or something?

I wonder if that will be everywhere or just in the US. I want to see it, but I don't want to pay that price to watch it at home. And if it's out here December 3rd, happy birthday to A! Although I'm not sure A will be that interested in it....maybe it will just be a slightly early birthday present to me!
After a bit of time with Mr Google it seems you will get it the first week of December for free. I read 3rd, 4th or 5th for where you live. Every article had a different date:rolleyes:

So my misfit market box has been put to good use so far. Made a mango corn salsa and a chopped salad. I made a yummy citrus vinaigrette. Here is the recipe. I changed the amounts because it wouldn’t be enough for a week. 1/2 cup fresh OJ, 1/2 apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 avocado oil, 4 tsp dijon mustard. I added a mixture of honey and maple syrup until I got the sweetness level I wanted. If I would have followed the recipe ratio it would be 1/2 cup of honey. Seemed like a lot, but that is probably the amount I used.

@MySmallWorldof4 ,
Has the pandemic altered your remote teaching of children abroad or is this September structured basically the same as a year ago?
The summer was dead, but I think it was because it was summer vacation. It has picked up again now that school is back in session. I have decided to cut my days of availability though. I used to do 7 days a week as long as we weren’t doing anything, but I am only offering the weekdays now. Thanks for asking. How is your daughter doing at college? Ours has 2 exams tomorrow that she is stressing about. (Biology and Chemistry). She has daily Chem quizzes, and weekly Bio ones. I don’t remember ever getting tested this much. She has done a few papers already for her two core English type classes. They are also supposed to respond to all their classmates papers as well online and they get graded on the response. Lots of work on her part.

Very glad that you will be able to teach once again this year. 5 days seems a week seems great!
My DD is busy also but seemingly not as bad your college kid. My daughter always has a smile on her Instagram posts, and she is enjoying marching band and being independent from her parents ;)

I find the $450 million dollar figure that Guardian in Epcot is rumored to cost Disney to build a crazy figure for one ride. It is also sad the Disney can build an entire theme park in 2 years back then but today can build a ride in under half a decade (it seems like half a decade).
I believe it was three years, and remember that every attraction was being built at the same time, so it took 3 years to build them, they just did it simultaneously. I have to admit though that 450 million seems like a lot of money to spend on any single thing.
