Watchin’ “American Pickers” and they run across a rebuilt 1959 Chrysler “Octopus” engine...
A now rare (although I knew of them) 413 c.i. big block “wedge” engine that produced 380 bhp out of the factory...big numbers for ‘59.
Two 4 bbl carbs with cross-ram intake...!!!!!!!

You can see why they called it the “Octopus” in the pic below, and also a “wedge” engine with the wedge-shaped combustion chamber in the pic below that...!!!

Oh, and BTW...
One of the other partners informed me today that we got another big residential project that we’re fixin’ to start soon in Huntsville, AL (where my family lived for 18 months from ‘66-‘68). He also told me word is spreadin’, and there will be more...the partners are happy, and THAT is definitely a good thing...!!!!!

Both my kids have 4 day weekends. MIL Full out Catholic Funeral is tomorrow. She will be visiting 2 suburbs and a long final drive to Chicago.

Son is a pallbearer. Nothing screams Covid like a bunch of guys standing inches from each other.
