@ajrwdwgirl The anxiety from that one person in my house about Star Tours has morphed into anxiety about dining in restaurants. šŸ™„ Which brings me to me next question: what kinds of precautions is Disney taking in restaurants, specifically TS locations? Have they taken tables out, spaced them further apart, etc? TYIA

There is a temperature check at check in and yes tables have been taken out and tables left empty in between other parties. It has been pretty spaced out. The most crowded we have felt in a restaurant has been at the Boathouse when we ate inside but even then tables were spaced further apart than usual. The disney owned restaurants though are very good about spacing.

Quick service is spaced out with markings on the tables about where to sit and where not to sit. Tables have been wiped down before we sat at them too.

I think it's partially that he hasn't been anywhere. He goes to work and he comes home. Mom goes to the grocery store, B and I of course are going to Hershey, and before that we went out to get food and such...he just has no concept that basically, the world takes all kinds of precautions these days. Hilton Head was basically his observation...and Disney's precautions were far different there than outside of Disney property, and Disney operates the way MD and PA operate.

He got mad because I went to eat with my grandma. At a Panera outside where tables were plenty spaced apart. šŸ™„

I didn't remember having a variation of Bozo on local TV stations, but we got Bozo by cable.

My parents back in the mid 1980's got cable and Bozo was on a cable station called WGN. I grew up In Wisconsin and the cable channel was from Chicago. I believed Bozo was filmed in Chicago. My younger brother and I did watch Bozo in the mornings as kids.
Your cable provider might have subscribed to WGN but it is an independent licensed TV station in Chicago Long before I was born and went on air in 1948::BOZO was a WGN childrenā€™s program, waiting list for tickets 10 to 15 years. I was addicted to Bozo and he was on once a day And had a live audience. At Christmas there is always a Bozo special. Few episodes of The original Bozo exist The station just reused the film tape until it had to be trashed.

I contemplated using that one as well, but opted for the plain one. Now we have them all. I don't remember it being anything but with the Indian Head, but by the time they disappeared I was out either in the military or working. No more Capt. Kangaroo until my kids were old enough to want to watch it.

Besides Captain Kangaroo and all the Saturday morning shows/cartoons, the other weekday morning shows I remember were ā€œRomper Roomā€, ā€œMister Rogersā€™ Neighborhoodā€, ā€œSesame Streetā€, and ā€œThe Electric Companyā€.
Although, the latter 3 didnā€™t first air ā€˜til I was between the ages of 5 and 9.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of damage. Hopefully they can dry it out quick and the drywall and carpets will be ok. All of our sinks have overflows.

Iā€™ve posted about this here before, so I wonā€™t go into major detail, but, this reminds me of when my folks had a washer line break while they were out of town many years ago.
Got a call from their next door neighbor that eveninā€™ sayinā€™ water was runninā€™ out of their garage and down the driveway in sheets.
Headed over, unlocked the front door, and stepped off the raised foyer into 2 inches of water... :cyclops:
Took 4-ish months for that all to get resolved.

Now, of course, still tryinā€™ to get their house rebuilt before Thanksgiving, after the January fire, and all during a pandemic. Probably still wonā€™t be able to celebrate a proper Thanksgiving or Christmas, even if Family Central is all back in order, but, we pray that we all will be able to in 2021...!!!!! :):inlove::happy:
