Free? Or, do you mean that Amazon Prime has reduced subscription prices? (I'm not really familiar with what Prime does, other than send things quickly, if you're a member.)

Some might be free with prime. It's worth looking into. I know I get some free on Kindle unlimited.

Sorry I haven't been on lately. Survived James birthday, went grocery shopping in footwear that weighs as much as I do, did storm prep including cooking a week's worth of food, charged all the chargers and electronics, got the boys to help me secure all the plants including moving everything off the deck rails, tackled all of mount laundry and managed to watch Frozen 1 and 2. The shopping in heavy footwear is almost impossible!

Hope you didn't get the storm too bad... my sil is in Newport News and they got hit pretty hard... she had a big limb down in her backyard.

Well don't get Jabber, it sucks

It cannot be any worse than our current system. We have to log in and log out of it every day...which makes no sense because the phone is assigned to us; it's not like I'm working at a different phone. We were told if we log out, our phone won't ring. I checked...that was a lie. I tried to get my phone to forward to my cell phone so I wouldn't have to use my softphone...I can't figure it out. I know it's possible, but I don't know if there's a secret handshake or something? Oh, and our phones have headsets, not handsets. The headsets are fine for people who are on phone calls for extended periods of time all day, but I'm on the phone when I get a call or rarely when I make one, and they last maybe 5-10 minutes. I just want to pick up the phone and answer it. I've literally missed calls fiddling with that thing. Thankfully I haven't since I've been at home because my softphone is one earpiece with an answer button, which I much prefer, but still.

I never thought I would have such hatred for a phone system, yet here we are.

It's just getting going now. Last night we had a few bands that went boom but now it's dark, the rain is steady and the wind is picking up a bit. Keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't get too bad. Current forecast yucky all day but shouldn't have damage I'm west of where it's supposed to get bad

Almost had to take shelter about an hour ago because they announced a tornado warning right over my area. Luckily nothing touched down.

Yeah my front yard is flooded bad, there's a river on both sides of my front gate and I have to go to work in a hour. But yeah the news people were kinda freaked out cause they put the tornado warning out but couldnt see it on radar. Welp.

We are getting nothing at the moment...not even wind. Even then we're lucky to be getting one line of thunderstorms/rain.
