If you have a moment to look at this page.. tell me if you’ve been, and if you think the rafting portion sounds too boring for a 10 year old. Minimum age for more aggressive rafting is 12.

I’m going stir crazy and we need to go somewhere with water fun... this is only 4 hours away, we can go tomorrow.

Have not been there, but can tell you rafting is fun even in mild conditions. In fact, I can only do the more subdued trips, class one or two at most because of a bad back, and still have a blast. Just the simple act of being on the water and floating down the river is worth the trip. I would bet he loves it. No reason for him to have to float the more aggressive rapids at such a young age. He will be doing the more advanced stuff soon enough, and you will be wondering how time went by so fast.
I say go and have fun, but be careful, it is still a river, with inherent risks involved.

I just got off the phone with them. Booked full tomorrow. :(

Now searching other places. We have a kayaking place where we go here, a couple of them on the Great Miami or Little Miami rivers near Cincinnati, they have class 1 rapids., the person on the phone said there is a handful of class 3 on that trip, so it would still be worth the drive.. some other time.

I’m racing the clock now trying to find something.

Good luck. Things around here are booked up with people trying to get out due to being cooped up for so long. A local hiking area near where you went at Tallulah Gorge had multiple cars towed because the parking area was full and people were parking along the sides of the roadway creating dangerous conditions for passing motorists.
According to the local news, if any of the wheels were still on the road and no one could be located to move the car, it got towed. Many unhappy out of town hikers who found out the hard way you don't park in the road around here.
